When I can afford to travel again, I'm looking forward to learning some local recipes and techniques. Mostly, asian cuisine, but various european foods interest me too.

Would love to take a cooking class of any sort. Have daydreamed about buying a bed and breakfast one day and serving more than just the every day meals.

Keja34 I am the same way. If I have to trim meat or if it's on a bone I can't eat it. Too big of a reminder that I'm eating an animal which grosses me out.

Haven't taken a cooking class. I love to watch cooking shows, Food Network is fabulous! I wouldn't mind a class or two though, vegetarian and grilling. I like to grill, although I am not very good at it. I also LOVE vegetables, and am not the biggest fan of meat.

I have this weird thing where if I cook meat, watch it cook, clean it, etc...I have a very difficult time eating it. My family thinks it is the funniest thing, lol!

No professional lessons for me. I'm a fairly good cook(another reason why I weight this much) and like to watch the cooking shows and improvise to my own liking. But now that I'm in ESKD and have to watch what I eat and drink cooking is no longer fun for me.

FaceFacts. I hear what you are saying. I was watching some of the shows thinking there is a world full of yummy foods out there. I could spend a lifetime eating them.

No professional lessons for me. Food is my issue. I don't want to be in the kitchen more than I have too.

I have thought about it. Just basic good cooking classes. But I can make it through a meal now and even have a menu or two for when company comes.

I will say when I was first married and meeting my BIL & SIL etc. for the first time, I did not want to cook. My husband and I decided that we would buy Kentucky Fried Chicken for the meal and do salad and dessert etc. (They had kids so we thought it was kid friendly food.)

I threw the food in the oven and turned it on to keep warm. To cut a long story short I opened the oven door sometime later and the boxes and bucket burst into flames. I did not know that 500 was to high to have the oven to keep some thing warm!!!! LOL

My hublets family to this day does not let me live this down.

Watching salt intake also trying not to buy foods that have high fructose corn syrup, sugar, rice syrup, corn syrup, fructose, sucrose etc. in the first three ingredients.

No foods that have more than 3 ingredients that I can not pronounce.

If an item has more than 10 ingredients I put it on the Do Not Buy List as it is too processed.

I'd be interested in baking / decorating, but then I'd end up twice my size, so that's not going to be happening, LOL!

I'd like to take a vegetarian (preferably low-fat) class someday.

I love most all of the cooking shows. I like it that it all looks so easy and organized and how it all comes together in the end:)

Nope, was never interested beyond a little curiosity like love these rolls, wonder how you make them! But if you can buy them, why cook em?

Now I would love too. Have been watching various kinds of cooking shows & have learned a lot :)
