When my baby was littler I had one of those sling carriers that I could put him in. So in the mornings when We both needed to eat I would put him in it without my top on and position him in it so that he could eat and I still had both of my hands so I could eat something too. It was just the two of us in the mornings so it worked well for me, don't know if something like that would work for you too, but worth a try.

I kinda have the same problem. So I eat a banana before I feed the baby and when I get the chance I eat the rest of my breakfast. A banana is small but healthy and will jump-start your metabolism in the morning.

I have to get a 7 year old ready and out the door for school as well as feed the baby and get myself ready for work. . .I ended up eating a piece of toast or whatever scaps were left thru the week. So, the other day, I started drinking Slim (a fiber beverage) and Lean Complete (also made by Bios Slim) it is a protein drink/meal replacement. It keeps me full for 4 hours with all that fiber n protein and it is low in cals for a meal. I just keep a blender out on the counter and it is quick n I drink it while I do all the other stuff. Sometimes I add skim milk, sometimes Oj, sometimes yogurt . .it is vanilla too so the OJ tastes like a orange dreamsicle and berries go great in it too for something different. It costs quite a bit of $ but it lasts a month or two, sometimes I only add 1/2 a pack of the fiber mix and really you dont even need that . .I just like it cause it lowers your cholesterol . .I get it from the Dr office I work at but I am sure there are many similar products . .google bio slim n see what you find

I know how important it is to eat breakfast, and I do eat it, every day. But I am having a hard time trying to eat breakfast within a reasonable amount of time from when I wake up. By the time I get up, get the baby up, breastfeed him, make him some breakfast, then make myself some breakfast, it has been over an hour. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can get food in my belly sooner?
