JBD: It depends on who "they" are. You must be part of a fairly large and apparently impersonal system. (You've probably explained earlier but I just joined and haven't read backwards yet.) My suggestion which may be too late for this event is to refresh the caseload list every 8 weeks or so and send it to "them". If you don't know the whole school's assignments at least send yours. My school uses a web based IEP program which updates automatically.

I would just talk to the other teacher or whoever is in charge and find out what is expected. If you have to do the paperwork you dont want to wait the last minute. It sounds like the person in charge of notifying people needs to figure it out. Good luck!

Does anyone else not get invited to IEP meetings? Our EDs this year are a mess. I get invited to meetings of kids I don't know, but not invited to meetings of kids I do have. We have a meeting for a new IEP scheduled for next week. The teacher that had him through November was invited. I switched back into spec ed the week after Thanksgiving. I was not. I am so annoyed. Do I complete the work? Do I play the "not my problem" card? I am so irritated.

Is it too much to expect that by MAY, they would know caseloads, especially considering I have said something repeatedly?

Please help
