CLCCOOL I agree with pinkgranny our group here is great. Our live red hat groups in town are so much fun too. I have really enjoyed having friends to do thins with. AND chatting on line just creates more friends. We are luck girls.....Classy Sassy Hatters....yeh!

It sounds like you had a good time! It must be fun to belong to a 'live' red hat group that you can do things with. I wouldn't trade these ladies for a million bucks though.

Hi all------It's March already where I am ---so welcome to a new Month----so let's see where we go from here

Had a great time with my Red Hat ladies yesterday. We visited a local museam & opera, then had a wonderful lunch. I'm so luck to have been invited to join that team!!

I am ready for March...and perhaps a new challenge. I have felt pretty focused in February, good and bad so feel good overall.

Thanks for the kind words. I really appreciate them. Y'all are the best group of ladies!! I wish we lived closer and could visit. We need to have another tea party or something.

I had a cortisone shot yesterday for a pinched nerve in my foot, and I'm really feeling it. I had this problem years ago, but had felt good for several years. Since I have been exercising, the foot problem came back. I wanted to take care of it before our trip. I know we are going to do a lot of walking in London and Paris.

My husband really enjoys wireless, but I use the desktop instead of the laptop. It's hard to teach and old dog new tricks!!

I hope you get a new wireless mouse soon. I never got one for my laptop but when I was at my daugther's the other day I used hers and it was pretty nice.

Have not had any problems but broke my wireless mouse for my lap top and I hate having to use my finger to move things it takes that much longer so have to get a new mouse soon.

Has anyone had trouble updating their status? I am and it seems to accept it when I link it to what I spin on the wheel but not when I type a quick update about what I am doing.

My hubby and I just went for lunch. It is so pretty outside I may just have to go bacck outside.

Vicki, I live in Baton Rouge, LA We are about 3 hours from Mobile, AL That is in the deep south.

I created quite a stir at work this morning. I wore pants to work for the first time in over 30 years. Everyone is coming to my desk to check it out. I feel weird about it all. I would never have done that 100 pounds ago, even in 40 degree weather!! I'm hearing some pretty bizarre statements, such as, you look younger and thinner. I cannot believe pants make you look younger and thinner. If that were the case, everyone would wear them all the time!! Anyway, thanks for listening!!

That sounds great Judy. I thought of you when I saw a commercial for San Diego tonight. Ah...that warm sun was so fleeting! I believe we will continue with gray skies a few days!

I wish you "Suffering" cold ladies would come to Calfornia and visit me. I'll order a sunny day with flowers blooming, birds singing, and butterflies fluttering. We'll sit out on the patio with tea and a lovely spring time salad......but first, because we are red hat ladies, we'll eat dessert first. Anybody feel better yet? How I would love that!

Yep Redstone Arsenal is just 20 minutes away. thats ok she is younger than me and she wouldn't want to hang out. I thought she might want to get away from there for a bit.

I'm still trying to stay warm-------hoped the daffodils would work but not yet!!

well, we had wet snow this morning and it is gone now, it warmed up and now it is raining. Imagine, I had coffee with BusyMom206 at Starbucks yesterday and it was so hot sitting in the sun! I felt like it was summer. However, I didn't want to move or complain because all in all, it felt so good, especially thinking of you all with your unseasonably cold winters.

Mary Leah is at Redstone Arsenal, she said she didn't know what you two would chat about so we will see what she decides but thanks for the offer.

We are having another cold, damp, cloudy day. At least it didn't snow. We never have snow, and have had it 3 or 4 times in the past few months.

VGinny, I love the flower picture. It brightened my day. Maybe the weather will change by this weekend.

Vicki, I hope everything is going well with the puppy. I talk southern, and would love to meet your daughter if she is in this area.

Mary thank you so much for calling me on the phone, and asking to have lunch or something with Leah. She has not emailed me back yet to tell me where she is but when she dose I will pass on your note. Thanks also for the info for Gerti we will see how she does tonight when we are gone for 4 hours. Just going to make sure she goes potty before we leave and let her roam the house.

Hang in there ladies....this is where we hang on by our fingernails till Spring. We are having a really cold rain here/ Like Cassie I don't do the heat.....so I can't complain too much right now. With snowdrops, hyacinth and daffodils blooming I am happy.

Mardell, my sis from Washington was here today. We had a nice lunch and shopping outting. Sure wish she was closer.

VGinny, the tulip is probably beautiful!! I love tulips.

Vicki, I'm wating on spring too, but I'm not looking forward to another hot humid summer!! I hibernate all summer. It gets so hot here, you can't stand it.

I hope all goes well with the puppy. You can try putting a blanket with a clock and a stuffed toy in a box for her to play with, but I don't know if it will work. Nothing worked for us. We let her sleep with us, and that was ok at night, but she cried during the day while we were at work. We were building our house then, and were living in an apartment, and the neighbors complained. We put up a baby gate and let her see from the kitchen into the dining room and that helped. She was crying when we closed the doors to the kitchen and left her alone. You may want to try letting her see more of an open area, so she doesn't feel alone.

Hi there everyone-----We are still freezing over here----We are due snow,sleet and hail-----i am ready to emigrate!!-----But I looked out this afternoon and there is a tulip trying to come up!!!!!!!!!just one! Weird

Good morning one and all! It is sunny again this morning but a brisk 20 degrees. After all that snow last year it is amazing and Cassie, while you are having my winter down there trust me anything is possible! Whe we were walking yesterday I thought to myself that this how Phoenix was when I visited my parents there many moons ago. A tad cooler but...the sun and all that I saw except the plants, seemed like deja vu. I hope you took pictures for posterity!

Yesterday was like a spring day here, but it's already cold again and they are predicting more snow for us tomorrow!!! That is unheard of here. I don't believe it will happen again, but with all the other crazy things happening, you just never know.

It was so sunny today it looked like late March! I went for a walk with my husband and told him it makes me want to get out in the yard already. But, it is February in the Northwest so....although the grass is greening up, I will keep a sharp lookout before plunging ahead.

Good luck with that puppy and happy red hatting to you gals with the local groups. It sounds fun!

Good luck Vicki....were training a baby now....my dogs are good about him. They don't get in my lap as much because of the baby, but oh well....

VICKI---How does your daughter cope----what does she do that's different than you?? Only thing I know about puppies is that you put a clock in their bed to keep them from crying and go to sleep----it simulates their mothers heartbeat-----LOT'S OF LUCK!!

Wow, I missed a lot!!

Judy, I'm glad everything went well. Keep us informed of the outcome. Mardell gave you great advice about the bra. Those ladies really know how to help. We use them even though we haven't had surgery. They have the best fitting bras.

Vicki, I have had two Yorkie puppies. The only advice I have is be patient. Once we let the Prissy in the bed with us the crying stopped soo..it depends on what you want to do.

For the first two years, she tore up and ate up everything. That is why I don't have one now. I'm waiting until I retire and can devote all of my time to cleaning up after her. The first one I had didn't act anything like the second one or I wouldn't have bought the secone one. I think it's just their personality traits. Lacey, the first one I had was sweet and even-tempered, Prissy, the second one I had was terrible!!!

If you want me to call and talk about it with you I will.

Vicki, YOu have your hands full...I hope you get some sound advice from one of the expert puppy owners.

It is 27 degrees here and very sunny. I am going to get some work done, go to Curves and do the grocery shopping.

Temp is 16* windy but now the sun came out.

I need help!! Any one have a Yorkie puppy? Tell me how to make them stop crying when I leave them alone for a few hours?? Gerti cry's, bark's, and dig's at the bathroom door until we come home then she goes crazy when she see's us and is almost out of breath. She does not do this for my daughter at her house so what do I do??
If you can give me any advice I would love it and if you could call me on the phone and help me that would be great. 402-643-2868

Judy, Once your surgery site heals, ask your oncologist's nurse to refer you to a fit expert who specializes in fitting bras for women after surgery. You will be glad you did. She will have many tips and tricks for you while providing you with a comfortable bra. Comfort is a key word here too.

Thinks for the hugs and support ladies. My surgery went find. Not as bad as last time, but very tender. Does anyone know where I can buy a combination B cup D cup bra?LOL Can't tell much yet with what they removed. The results of the tests won't be in for 4 or 5 days. Keep your fingers crossed for me. I feel pretty confident still.

We had -5C with snow and frost last night and we are going for the same thing tonight!!!!! We do not have this kind of weather over here----I've been here for 15 years and never saw anything like this!!

I'm with you about the weather. We have had more cold weather this year than we have had in several years. The temps are going to be in the high 50s so that is a little warmer.

Things are almost back to normal here. I'm looking forward to a relaxing weekend!! I don't plan on leaving my house tomorrow!!
