Missy, I forget to thank you yesterday, those General Hospital spoilers were awesome! What's not so awesome is that mom thinking that her little darling should run around daycare naked!

Susi, that is heartbreaking about Mark. It is good that they were able to have that last trip. I don't blame you for feeling gut-punched. We are continuing to pray for your family!

I had a good time at the gym today. I did some cardio equipment and took a kickboxing class. I have an appointment Monday for someone to show me the weights.

Wishing everyone a blessed Maundy Thursday.

Hugs!

OMG!!!!! Naked?? Does she know there are other children there??? Of course she does! What on earth is the matter with that woman???? I'm sorry but ....Lady, get off your lazy ass and teach him, get him pull ups, take him in and set him on it often, even I know that!!! Geez!!! Ok, I'm off my soap box.

Dawn texted me a little while ago, she will call me tomorrow. She just got back from the funeral home making the plans and they are bringing the hospital bed for him shortly. I'm so heart broken for them I feel like I want to throw up. :(

I know it was better for her to make the plans now, she will be in absolutely no condition to do it when the time comes. I know it was still so very hard for her to do. :(

Morning everyone!

Susi... praying lots for you all and Mark to go peacefully! God Bless you all. HUGS! Sorry!
I'm so happy they had that week too!

We have rain today. Hoping you have another good day... maybe sit outside again?!!? What are the plans for today?

Auntie Cyndie... Hoping you have a good day also. Hope you have a Blessed Holy Thursday!

All the kidos here today. A's mom asked if I would be willing to have him run around the house naked?!! AHHHH... NO!!! She said when he does that, he'll poop on the potty. Again, NO! It worked out because she tried to have him just wear his undies and he wanted his pants too, so going naked I don't think would of worked. These pants! What would she do if they went to a store or something?!?

The other three are doing okay... so far... so that's great! Hoping for a good day. I have dinner made already so we can eat and head to church tonight.

I keep forgetting that Saturday is Younger Cub's real birthday! I have to make sure we do something special for him. If he's home, hee hee.

Well have to change diapers. I'll be back. Hoping you all have a good day!
Hugs...

Missy, it's not rude at all! Yes, Hospice only comes in at the end of life. They are allowed to administer pain medication to keep the person in comfort. They help with the care and also help the family deal with the situation. On very few occasions they will stop coming if the person is making progress, it won't be that in Mark's case. :(

She will have him at home which is a blessing. No one wants to "go" into a facility at this time in their short lives. They did that for my Aunt Betty too, but the last day they had to end up taking her to Pickering House which is generally the place here in town they go for their last few days. I hope it doesn't come to that for Mark.

I'm not sure if Mark is up at all, usually not when Hospice is involved. I'm so happy though they had that last week of being together at their favorite place. She will have at least that last happy memory with him.

Onward.... In the past when I had to have any rehab with the other insurance company, on my thumb, it was a $20 copay each time The $16 is some better but free is even better.

Susi, I am so sorry to hear about Mark. I am praying for him and your entire family! On a happier note, I'm glad to hear that your eye exam went well!

Missy, I do agree with you about Easter! I'm going to Good Friday services for the first time, so I'm looking forward to that!

I went to Bible study today. Aside from that, I have good news! Jimmy found a gym that will allow him to pay cash. I go for the first time tomorrow.

Wishing everyone a wonderful evening!

Hugs!

Susi... so very sorry about Mark!! I will definitely be praying for him, Dawn, you, all this family!!! So VERY sad!!! How is he doing? Is he out of it, or still up and around? I don't know much about Hospice, except I thought they came in to help when it was like the end of life. Not sure if the patients are out of it. Not sure if I'm making sense, or if this is rude for me to even be asking. So sorry... not meant to be that way. Praying for you all... HUGS!

That's good news about your rehab being 90% covered! I know it's still a lot paying $16 each time you go, but so much better then what it could be, right?!! Hoping you can get it all for free. Good luck doing that. Hope it's a simple thing!

Hope you are having a good day Auntie Cyndie.
I saw that Nina's (Michelle Stafford) replacement is going to be Cynthia Watros (who I know from the TV show Lost). Here is a pic of her (& Michelle)...

It says Michelle will play Nina till June. If you want to know all the info on how they are switching the two actresses, feel free to read... But know this is a huge spoiler...

A sad update on Mark. :( His cancer in his liver has doubled and is now in his pancreas, spleen and kidneys. They are calling Hospice in and only giving him 4 weeks to live. :( Please pray for them for comfort. Thanks.

Missy, my appointment went well, except for the dialation. LOL! I hate that! Oh well. :)

I hope things went well with YC's first day. That's one thing I don't think I'm interesting in trying the zip line. Or bungee jumping either! Yikes!

Your vacation time sounds so wonderful, well, except for having to have appointments, but you will have a wonderful week! :)

This retirement stuff isn't so bad afterall! LOL! Okay, I'm not a tightwad when it comes to heath and neither is Greg but you can only do so much. The lady from pulmonary rehab called me today and I will be going. It will be 3 times a week for 12 weeks. I start on the 24th.

The tightwad thing... She called my insurance co and they will pay 90% which would leave me with paying a $16 copay each time I go, x's 36 sessions = OUCH! She said with Greg's income and my age I can qualify for doing it for completely free. :) I guess there are advantages out there if you look for them. :) I just hope it does work out like that.

Morning ladies. Happy Wednesday! Thank-you to all who pray tonight! God Bless you all!

Susi... good luck at your yearly eye exam! Hoping all goes well.
I would feel bad for your dad too, with all the family drama. Right now there is some on Papabear's side, nothing like yours, but I know it hurts his Mom and I feel bad. At least your Dad has YOU!!! Your very sweet to make him a little candy treat each Easter!

Auntie Cyndie... hoping you have a good day. Our weather is looking much nicer, so hoping you have a nice walking day weather today! hee hee If you go for walks, will Jimmy go with you?

How is Kim doing? Did she enjoy her work trip? Hope all is going well. Any luncheons planned anytime soon? hee hee

Today is the 1st day of intersession for the children. Younger Cub is going to the place that does zip lines, etc. I'm sure he'll have a great day, but it's up north, and it's still cold up there. I tried to suggest layering, which he did, but very little. Well see...

Tomorrow is paintball, and Friday is going to a country club (not sure why?!?!). A good way to enjoy the three days before your birthday, hee hee, and before Spring Vacation!!!

To answer you Susi (sorry forgot)... for my vacation, I'm getting together with my girlfriends for lunch! I'm like You ladies now, hee hee. Then Tuesday is appointments. Wednesday we might do dinner with my SIL and her husband. and the rest of the week... shopping! hee hee. I have a coupon for Old Navy, but I'll go with Papabear to help use it up. (wink) I have my Kohl's coupon, and will most likely browse Hobby Lobby. The rest of the time, just relax and do something for me... work on my photo books, makes craft projects, read... relax!!!

I hope you all have a good day. Time to do snackie with the children. I'll be back... TTFN...

Cyndie, every now and then I'll have a coke or a rootbeer, but I'm not big on drinking it much anymore. My big thing is coffee all morning and water all afternoon and evening.

I'm sorry you couldn't find a gym to go to. I hate those auto pay things too. Dad has it on his supplemental and it drives me nuts! I have several online bills I pay and I always get a pop up that wants me to switch or go paperless and I hate that too! GRR. No matter how much I click no thanks, I still get it every time. :(

Missy, I warned all the kids that once they turned 18 no more gifts for birthdays or Christmas, and they were fine with that. So the last they get is the year they are 18 and no more, only a Happy birthday, a Christmas ornament or Merry Christmas and a card. They're fine with it.

Of course I doubt we'll have anymore Christmas gatherings because of the way things are now with me and TJ and her and the kids. I don't really care anymore, I just feel bad for dad about it. I know we'll still get together with the kids though. :)

I do make a little thing of candy for dad at Easter. :) You know Greg and I have some for here too. LOL! I never did do Easter gifts for anyone else though.

I was glad a lot of stuff survived the fire and the meaning of what they were. I feel so terrible though about all that has been destroyed. :( They only thing we can do is pray. :)

I have my yearly eye check up this afternoon. Should be good. :)

HUGS!

Good evening ladies! Setting up everything for Easter (gift wise) for the cubs, day care children, and nieces and nephews. I can't stand getting things for Easter because that is NOT what it's about! It's so sad because really only us and one other SIL goes to church... well my MIL and FIL too, but as for the others, it's all about TOYS and CANDY! Hate it!

For the little ones, it is the Berenstain Bears and the Easter story (wink) and a little Easter activity pad. The older ones, a 97 cent frisbee and a football for Spring playing OUTSIDE! No candy! Day Care children, those Reeses in a bag shaped like a carrot. I put religious tags with EACH gift! (wink)

Last is the older kids. Some years the Aunts get my cubs a gift and sometimes not. Not sure what this years holds, so I'll get two Dunkin Donut $5 gift cards and wait to see if they give gifts to the cubs. If not, they stay with me! They are 18 and over, so I think it's time to stop! Last year and this year, no one gave Older Cub a birthday gift (talking Aunts). Is that because they forgot because I don't do a birthday party anymore, or because he's over 18?!! I'm fine with being done... and especially with Easter, it's NOT about gifts!!!

Okay, sorry... didn't mean to go off like that... ooops...

Susi... so glad you had a good visit with your dad today! Very sweet of you to get him his pop for a treat! Glad he enjoyed it!!

Glad you took some time for yourself outside. Nice listening to the birds and Greg, hee hee. The sun was out here, but cold until about 3:30pm. Still a chill in the air, but warmer. Good job also getting the bills done! (wink)

Auntie... That's too bad about the gym. None of them do that Silver Sneakers?!!? My Mom and Godmother have both talked about it. Hope you can work something out. But good for you two for trying to fine a gym!!! Hoping you do find one!!!

YES, I heard the same about the crown of thorns! My sister, who has visited not to long ago, read that most of that stuff was in a vault and the article said it should be safe! I would hope so with something so important!!!

Okay, back to finishing up my Easter stuff. Have a good evening ladies.

Oh, and Mom, we all missed you, but looking forward to seeing you in June!!! HUGS!

Have a good night ladies! emoticon

Linda, as always, it's good to see you on here!

Missy, I love the photos from Younger Cub's party! I especially like the fact that Reese's was able to attend! I hope that everything works out for you going to Good Friday services!

Susi, I'm happy to hear that you were able to get out to see your dad today! I love the fact that your dad enjoyed his pop so much! I guess I need to learn how to cut back like that!

It was a beautiful day here. Jimmy and I went to look at gyms today. Unfortunately, every place we went requires auto-pay, so we'll see what happens.

I do agree with you ladies about the Cathedral at Notre Dame. I was reading about how The Crown of Thorns was saved. It was very moving!

Wishing everyone a wonderful evening!

Hugs!

Missy, I agree with you about the ear things! My cousins son has those BIG holes in his ears and it's terrible! :(

Yep, Greg has been working outside today. I did set on the deck swing with him for a little while. After that I came in to pay bills. Then I got a short nap.

Dad wasn't too bad today. :) We went down and got him a can of pop, he hasn't had any for a while. He has some change he can go down and get one,but he just doesn't do it. He sure enjoyed it. :)

I'm glad the mom's can pick the kids up early on Friday so you can go to church. :)

Yes, it is very sad about Notre Dame. :( There are many prayers heading for them and also pledges. :(

Good morning ladies!

Susi... hope you have a good visit with your Daddy today! Hoping he's in a good mood, and is happy to see you (and Greg). Good luck!

Thank-you for what you said about my pictures and cubs, hee hee. I'm not a fan of the beard either, but rather that, then those gages/earrings in the ears or something like that! hee hee

Enjoy your nice weather!!! That's awesome! Hope you get into something fun today (wink). We know Greg will be outside!!! Hope he has fun...

Auntie Cyndie... No more "s"!!!! I hope that was it's last hurray and you are onto Spring! We are definitely getting the Spring rain, hee hee. But this morning is looking better today, so hoping Younger Cub will be good for his intersession trips at the end of this week.

Speaking of Holy Week, I asked the Mom's of the day care children on Friday if they could pick up earlier so I can go to the Good Friday mass at 3pm. I think I'll be late to the mass, but only miss a bit, so I'm excited I can go! I said if they can't it was fine, but thought I'd ask! Hoping you have a very Blessed Holy week too Auntie!!!

Hoping it's a good walking day for you Auntie Cyndie! Have a good day!

I'm so saddened about the Notre Dame Cathedral in France. I know it can be fixed / replaced, but so sad and that it happened now (Holy Week). I did have a thought, since it is helping others to come together, maybe that is why?!!? Who knows, but great to see people coming together! And I'm praying lots of the priceless artifacts, artwork and relics collected over the centuries is safe and sound!!! Prayers for the French and Catholic people out there...

On a happier note... it's Tuesday, so one day closer to Friday, hee hee. I'm not gonna rush it (because that rushes my life) but feeling this is another week... not as bad as last week, but aaagghhh. Sick babies, teething babies, and that just makes them all tired and for long hard days! No, positive thoughts... It WILL be a good week! (wink) aaaahhhh.... as I type this B starts up because D is near him...

Okay time to post the QOTD... TTFN ladies! Have a good day!

Cyndie, today we're supposed to get to 72. :) For the next 10 days, at least so far it will be in the low 50's to the high 70's. I like that! I don't blame Jimmy for being worried about the water, it can freeze so fast outside and really cause a mess. :(

Missy, thank you! I love the pictures! I especially love the fact that YC has a normal hair color back again, he looks so much better! :) Now if OC would get rid of that beard. LOL!

I'm glad Reeses was able to go to the party too. :) Oh, I love the cake! It turned out so nice! You do have some talented decorators there! :)

Visiting dad this morning and after that, not sure what I'll get in to. I'm sure I'll find something though. LOL!

Missy, I am so happy for you that the weather held for Younger Cub's party! And it was awesome that family from out of state was able to attend (including Older Cub)!

Susi, I guess we got your snow flurries. They accumulated on the grass. I think Jimmy was worried about the outside water. Today our temperatures are in the 50s.

You ladies are right, it's good to walk and talk, but it's always important to pay attention to your surroundings! Wishing everyone a Blessed Holy Week!

Missy, I just knew the party would be wonderful! :) Shame on the late comers. You'd think by now they would know to remember things like that. You always go to their parties. Oh well, I'm glad it didn't mess anything up. :) They main thing is they had a great time! :) I'm sure the food when over very well too! Oh, did the SIL eat the salad? Hehe!

We didn't have the tornado here but in other parts of Ohio they did. :( It was a miserable day out though. This morning it was so cold! The weather said flurries, but if we go them it was before day break and nothing after.

I hope YC doesn't get sick from being out if it rains. Would they have them do something else if it does? Don't say what on here but do you have your vacation planned yet? :)

Have a Blessed Holy week!

Morning ladies! Late start to the week here, but I made it... hee hee

I have to start with... WOOHOO and CONGRATS to Truex, Greg and you, Susi!!! hee hee That's awesome! So glad he won, and battling the win with Logano! I remembered that from last year! Awesome!! WooHoo!!!

SO GLAD Dawn and Mark are enjoying their time!! I'm sure it's so hard. They are always in my prayers!!! Hoping their trip is wonderful and very Blessed!

I'm with you ladies, we get our bills paid a head of time too! If it was ready to go, then mail it!!! My guess, maybe she's one of those people who have to wait till the funds are in the bank to cover it. I have had many Day Care parents ask me to "Wait till Monday" to cash their checks. Since she tends to borrow money, my guess she doesn't have the money, so wait till the last minute to mail them! Praying she did what she said and mailed it when she got home!!!

Auntie Cyndie... Love the walking and talking! hee hee I'm a pacer when I'm on the phone anyways, so going for a walk is great! Good thinking!!! Loved reading it was nice enough to go for a walk!!! WooHoo! It's coming (Spring)!!!

Hope your breakfast was enjoyable with they birthday girlfriend! hee hee

Speaking of birthdays, Little Cub had a great day Saturday! The weather was PERFECT and we were able to have the party outside!!! I LOVED that! I few bumps in the day, but nothing that ruined it!

Two of my SIL's forgot about the party, so they weren't coming till my MIL called them. My MIL, one SIL were late. Papabear's Aunt called and said she'd be late. So my friends and us were the only ones there for about 45 minutes! It was hard... do you take the food out or not. Then those late 3 came... and finally I decided to do the cake and figure the others weren't showing up. As we were just about to sing, the other's came 2 hours late!

Again it still was nice, the young adult children (hee hee) had a blast and that is what matters. Older Cub came home which was great. Also my Godmother and her husband were here (from FL) for a few days, so able to come. Nice to see them. The whole party was great and I think it was mostly because of the beautiful day! Thank-you God!

I'll get the pics off my camera later, and post some...

Susi... hope you were okay with the tornado watch?!!? We have rain all week!! ALL WEEK! Some with be server storms too. We have had thunder storms already off and on this morning. Little cub has his intercession Wednesday thru Friday. They do different activities. He signed up for all outdoor things! He's gonna be wet!! hee hee. His actually birthday is Saturday, so hoping he doesn't get sick from being outside in the rain like that and be sick for Saturday and Easter! Oh, and next week is our April Vacation! WooHoo... don't wanna be sick for a week off (though I hope he works all week!).

Okay, want to email my Mom & Dad.
Hope you all have a good day! Happy Holy Week for those who celebrate! God Bless you all!!

emoticon Truex! emoticon for sharing the great news!

As for TJ, you and I are on the same page! If it's all set, why wouldn't you put a stamp on it and mail it on your way out of town emoticon

I was out walking yesterday while I talked to my cousin, so it helped me get steps in.

I'm headed to breakfast in the morning. It's the birthday of the receptionist where I retired from.

Have a wonderful evening!

Hugs!

I loved it! :) He battled Logano for the win and won! It was so cool cause Logano was the one who cheated him out of the final last year. Hehe!!!

We always have our bills paid before we go away too. If they were laying on her desk ready to go why didn't she just throw them in the mailbox, the post office is right up the street from her.

Thank you for the continued prayers for Mark and Dawn. :)

It's nice to be able to sit outside and talk on the phone. I like to be on the deck swing if I can if I have a call like that. :)

That TJ sure lives up to her name! It sounds to me like she took your money to Boy Scout camp! I'm not trying to brag, but I pay my bills BEFORE I leave town!

Thanks for the update on Dawn and Mark. That situation is so tragic. They are still in my prayers!

It was a decent day here. One of my cousins called me. I took her call outside, so that was good!

As always, go, Truex!

Turns out the race is on tonight at 7:30. That's too late for us to wait to eat, so we'll eat at the regular time and he can snack for the race. :)

I texted TJ today and said..Payment this month?.. she texted back that it's ready and on her desk at home with some other things that has to be mailed. She's at boy scout camp and will mail it as soon as she gets back. Hmm?

Dawn texted me. They're still enjoying their alone time. She did say though that Mark was getting worse, but it was expected. He's enjoying the warmth and sunshine though. It's so very sad. I know though he'll hang on as long as he can for her.

I did some mending today, bad choice. :( My hand is really bothering me now. Mostly because I didn't rest it enough from fixing new cuffs on my sweatshirt jacket the other day. *sigh* Greg's been working outside most of the day.

Thank you Cyndie, but I am no way a Saint. LOL! Kelly does more to help than TJ does, but even though she works it would be nice if she would visit him at least 2 times a week. She mostly does it on Sunday.

Greg hasn't made any requests for the race yet. I figure he'll wait till today to let me know. LOL! It's at Richmond and he likes that one, mostly because that's where we went. :)

I'm glad you enjoyed lunch with your friend. :) I know it's so nice to be able to get out in the afternoons whenever you want. :)

Susi, I'm sorry that your sisters don't step up and fill in with your dad like they should! No matter what you say, I think you're a saint! By the way, what's on the race day menu?

Missy, I have to agree with you and Susi. I would have never wanted a stainless steel fridge. I think it's too high pressure for "real life". Let us know about the repair.

I did have a nice time having lunch with my girlfriend. I'm really loving these lunch specials! It was a very windy day here. Come on, Spring!

Here's hoping everyone enjoys their weekend!

Hugs!

Thank you Missy. :) I don't feel all that amazing though, I just love him and want what's best. I don't want him feeling abandoned. He was so grouchy today. :( When we got there they were doing some walking therapy with him and he was so ticked, he hates that. *heavy sigh*

Sounds like you can't stick to your list too well when Papabear is shopping with you. Same with me and Greg, but I really don't mind anymore. I have a habit of not sticking to it all the time anymore too. LOL!

That was so sweet of D's mom to bring you sunflowers! At least they know how hard you have to work with the little ones. :)

It wasn't very nice of Papabear to say that to you about the fridge. :( Stuff happens when little ones are around no matter how close you watch them. I wouldn't want stainless steel appliances.

I think your food choices are great! I know YC will love the party. Happy Birthday and a hug from his aunt Susi. :) I'm glad the week is over for you! I know the party will be wonderful! And we do expect pictures! :)

Good morning ladies! HAPPY FRIDAY!!! I thought today would NEVER come!!

Susi... You ladies say how great I am with the kidos, but when I listen to just one visit with your dad, I think you are the one who is amazing! It's gotta be so hard. We all know how much you love your dad, but emotionally it can take a toll. Praying for you always. Wish you had your two other sisters that helped as much as you do! HUGS

Auntie Cyndie... I know the rule about food shopping and being full, but almost every week I go hungry. What helps me, I add and stick to my list!!! hee hee Keeps me busy and on track (wink).

Love the non-busy days! Keep them coming! Is it walking weather days yet? Yesterday ended up being nice. Little wind, but nice. Looking forward to the nice weekend!!! Hoping your weather is great too!

Yes, enjoy your lunch with your friend!!! Yummy, wings!

So this morning D's mom came in with sunflowers for me. Just because!!! Their children can be pains, but most times these Moms are great! I do love most teachers. They usually have caring hearts!!!

Went food shopping last night. Got all the food for the party. Papabear came to and was a pain, but it was nice to have him there too. Sometimes he's more like a child, hee hee.

He came because we stopped at the hardware store right before. One of the day care children scratched the front of my fridge. He came in the other saw it right away. Totally freaked. I felt so bad, but what could I do. It happened. He googled ways to fix it, and hoping it helps... please God! I have said from the beginning, I did not want that stainless fridge... and this was one reason. He came in saying... do you watch the children?!! That really *issed me off! B was learning to walk and had a toy in his hand. As soon as I heard the sound I ran, but...

Anywho... I have all the food for the party, hee hee. Today I'll set up what I can. I went easy. Sandwiches... only ham or turkey and doing meatball subs. Having a salad, that my MIL is now making, and some appetizers. Chips, lettuce, tomatoes, and red onions for the sandwiches. Then cake and some fun treats for fun to go with the theme. Simple!

This has been a lllllllloooooonnnnngggggg week! Did I say I'm so happy it's almost done, hee hee. Have a good day ladies! Talk to you later... TTFN...

Missy I can't wait to see the cake! :) Is Papabear being too picky with it? I know your party will be wonderful no matter what YC's girl does, yours will be much better! :)

Oh my on the poopy britches! I would be fuming at that one! :( I'm glad you left them for his mom to take care of. It was nice of her to bring you flowers, but that still doesn't change the fact it happened.

I seriously doubt that TJ will be of much help. Kelly may be though because she's is "monitoring" his snacks. She always has to do something she thinks is above and important. It is important to the fact he may not be getting enough nutrition, but if she would just listen to me and start taking just enough for him to leave out on his tray, this probably wouldn't be happening.

I'm praying the weather holds for the party!

Cyndie, it is hard to have a conversation with dad. He keeps complaining about the same stuff every time we are there. He says they don't come and get him for meals, and I know they do. He says stuff about his room mate and that guy is hardly ever in the room.

When I say that he starts in about how the guy kept taking his spot at the tables and so on. Which also isn't true. But in his mind he believes it is. :( It goes on and on no matter how I try to change the subject. :(

Have fun at your lunch today! :)

Susi, I have read the advice that you shouldn't go grocery shopping on an empty stomach. Jimmy and I did our best. Given that horrible thief Alzheimer's, I can imagine that it's hard to converse with your dad. A step back is probably best for all.

Missy, I hope that your pink eye is going away fast! You are quite a woman to try to potty train A while you have a full house! As for the mess, I'm glad you told his mom about it, and she brought you flowers! As for your party, I wish you all the best!

Today was another blessedly dull day here. Tomorrow I'm having lunch with a girlfriend. We're going to a wing place.

Wishing everyone a happy Friday Eve!

Hugs!

Susi... you so sweet! Thank-you!

Have to get going on dinner, but I did bake the cakes and Little cub has already made his ambulance cake. Looks great! I'll have to post a pic later. I think Papabear will do a little touch up, but it came out great!

As for A and the potty training... I did my best! He was dry all day, till after lunch and I JUST got him off the potty for peeing and trying to poop... and as I washed my hands, he went to poop. GGGRRRR. It was a 1/2 hour mess clean up! I was steaming! It was hard to be in the bathroom cleaning him up and having three others fussing off and on and D was hungry.

I did text the Mom to let her know she has a big mess to clean... I did nothing to clean the undies. She came to pick him up with flowers for me. It didn't make it better, but was a nice thought. Anywho, I lived, so...

Susi... That makes sense. My BIL helps with the boy scouts and is gone all this weekend camping. They have been the last few weekends actually, so it's started up here too. Hope she still tries to help out?!!? Hee hee... what am I saying... haa haa. I guess I can pray and hope for your sake. That means since you have to fill in, Kelly is too, right?!!? hee hee... again, what was I thinking! STILL, think of yourself too! You can't help your dad all stressed, sick, worn out! HUGS

Hope you had a good day! Looking like the weather Saturday will be in the 70's! AND the street sweeper went by today! Spring is here!!!

Missy, afraid I would just keep diapers on A and not worry about it. Hehe! I hope all went well with that today. It would be just too hard to work on training with all the other kiddos there.

I don't think it's very nice of YC's girl to do that party the night before you're having one. :( I think I would be really upset about it too!

I don't think you're over reacting at all. That would make me angry too. Your offer was because of them not the SIL and if that was her meaning she shouldn't have even said that, just thank you and left it go at that. If SIL didn't want anything you fix, then that's her monkey to deal with, or she just didn't need to be there. Geesh, that is crazy!

If your shawl is looking okay I wouldn't worry about it. It will probably just be a little bigger. Maybe someone needs one just a bit larger anyway. :)

Thank you for what you said about thinking it was okay to keep taking just 2 days with dad. I guess I spent sooooo much time doing it on my own before we had to start taking shifts when he couldn't walk that I'm just burnt out. Along with everything else. Now TJ said on her FB page that it was time for the boy scout camp outs so again, she won't be going to see him much. GRRRR!

We know how good you are at cleaning especially when someone is sick, so I don't see a big problem with you still having the kids with the pink eye. I know you'll wash your hands often and be careful with the little ones. :) If their parents don't mind then it should be okay. If they get it, it's the parents fault. Hehe!

STOP apologizing for long posts! :) I enjoy reading them!

Morning ladies. Happy Thursday...aaaaggghhh... this is the LONGEST week!!!

Full house today and I'm not looking forward to it. I have such a busy day and They decided to go cold turkey on potty training for A. So he's in diapers, and doesn't poop on the potty yet. They sent me lots of extra clothes they said (two outfits... aaahhhh). So far he's peed, but that is it. But it's hard to do a training of potty time with a full house and a crawler who gets into everything! Praying it all goes well! AND it's a late day for his too. God please help me!!!

I want to make three cakes today so Younger cub can "build" his cake tonight. I normally do the cakes Friday, YC's girlfriend is doing a "friends party" for him Friday night. It's a HUGE story and really *issing me off, but whatever! So potty training, full house, late day and makes cakes! Then as soon as everyone leaves, it's to the grocery store for all the food that is needed for the party! Busy next two nights, but I'm in good shape, hee hee.

One last complaint about the party. Just want to see if it's just me, or if you all agree it was werid...
My MIL texted me yesterday to RSVP (late as always). She offered to make something for the party and I said "no thank-you, I was all set". She came back with a "No I want to. It's a lot of work". Again I replied, "I'm keeping it simple, so I'm good. Just come and have fun".

All day I felt bad, and remembered reading here on SP how some people offer to bring food, so they have something they can eat and stay healthy. I also had friends in the past say it was rude to say no, if someone offered. SO, I called her last night and explained I REALLY didn't need her to bring anything, but if she really wanted to, a Garden Salad would be great. I suggested that because I know she is trying to eat better and get my FIL to.

I actually said something like that to her. She came back and said "Well I was going to ask you if you had anything healthy because K (Papabear's Sister) is not doing carbs and want to make sure SHE has something she can eat" I repeated how the salad would be good then and hung up. But as I hung up I started to think... I called with making sure her and my FIL were good with food, and it turn to my SIL, like it always does! I started to get mad. Let me remind you, Papabear is a sibling of 5... was my MIL not worried about her other 4 children?!!? Whatever! Am I over reacting?!!?

MOVING ON....

Susi... thank-you for the knitting help. They are a size 15 needle I think, and I'm doing a normal knit (??). Nothing fancy! It's looking okay to me?!! I'm gonna keep going and what it is, is what it is. If It's not right, I'll go back to my normal needles next shawl.

I don't think there is anything wrong with you keeping to the two days a week with your Dad. Since the weather is nicer, if you feel like going more here and here, that's fine, but it's also good for you to have these breaks! Take care of you too (wink).

Auntie Cyndie... that's awesome, another great retirement day!! Loved that you and Jimmy have had a great week! Visiting your folks to lunch out together! And food shopping one whatever day and time you want! hee hee. Keep enjoying!!!

Oh, as for my pink eye... I was just starting with it, so getting on meds right away, and how careful I am... clean clean clean... I think the parents were fine with the children still coming. This is not a good time for them to have to take days off. Non of them seemed to care actually. I told them my updates because I felt bad.

I'm sorry, I always say I'm gonna do a short post... so sorry!
Hope you all have a good day! I'll be back later! TTFN ladies...

Cyndie, they say it's better to get groceries after you've eaten so you don't seem to buy as much extras. Never seems to faze me. LOL! I'm glad you had a good day.

It does feel good to step back some, at least for a while. If they need me there though I will be there in a heartbeat! Lately I've been kind of struggling trying to make conversation with dad. :( I try to bring up new subjects and he about half ignores them.

Missy, that's a terrible story about your eye drops! On the other hand, I'm happy to hear that you've been getting such excellent help getting them in! Since you're on the drops, are you able to have the daycare kids?

Susi, I'm happy that you're here to help Missy with her prayer shawl. Missy, you'll have to let us know how that turns out. As for your dad, you've been stressed by that situation for so long, I'm glad you're stepping back!

Today was another great day in Retirementville! I went to Bible study. After that, Jimmy and I went out to lunch. After we were full, we went grocery shopping. LOL

Wishing everyone a wonderful evening!

Hugs!

Missy, I don't see a problem with using larger needles as long as they aren't tooooo big and you have fine yarn. If that's the case it would make the rows too spaced and it would look funny.

Poo on it taking so long to get the meds. :( The pharmacist, if she had an "un-brand" should have mentioned that. They can switch them as long as the doc didn't say not to. It would have been nice if she would have mentioned calling the doc right off, but some of them just don't seem to want to do anymore than they absolutely have to.

Greg can't seem to put drops in his eyes either, I always do it for him. I don't have any trouble doing mine. I'm glad you had someone to do it for you. :)

We're still lingering on only 2 days a week with dad right now. Unfortunately I'm liking it that way. I haven't decided yet when we'll go back to 3. I know I will though. Not sure if I'll take him snacks again or not. Kelly had quite a few there and with what we took him yesterday if he's out by Friday again he doesn't need them again for at least a few days.

Morning ladies!

Susi... the farm sounds nice! A's family is the same... passed down from the family and all work together to maintain it, but I think A'a dad does most of it. He's also a teacher at the HS too. Keeps busy! Happy to hear about farm families still around!

Thanks about my shawl. I was happy! I'm using bigger needles for this next one. Some of the ladies made faces, but whatever. I'll see what it looks like and if not nice or good, I won't use them again. I'm no professional like you!!! hee hee

Auntie Cyndie... Glad Jimmy is loyal. Papabear wasn't to the Patriots, hee hee. When younger he likes all different teams. But when Robert Kraft took over, he came back. As for me, I have only been a Pats fan, but to be fair, my dad was not into sports, just car racing, and I think we kept up with it more because of my Mom, hee hee. Hoping Jimmy's team does better this year?!!

I'm SO not a basketball or baseball fan!! Tons of people around me are a Red Sox fan, but I can't stand watching the "spit and scratch" game either, hee hee. To each his own, right?!!

That's awesome about the call Auntie! So glad so many are calling! Fingers crossed!!!

GGGRRRRR on the pink eye... viral. (YUCK) I had it once before when the cubs were little. I hate it and if the cubs got it, it was Papabear's job to take care of it. Hey, I did the getting sick, so he could do that! Anywho it was crazy to get my meds... there was ONE store that had it and I would have to wait till tonight to get it from there. So I asked the Pharmacist if they could ask the doctor for a new kind or something. She goes "Oh, you want me to do that?" (after an 1/2 hour wait of her calling stores) Isn't that her who should of suggested it to me?!! Anywho, they close at 8pm and at 7:45pm I picked up my meds... finally heard back from the doctor!

I'm NOT good at the eye drops thing, so it's been great having my girlfriend and then her daughter, and this morning Papabear put them in, hee hee. The daughter did the best. She's in HS, but doing classes like Little Cub, but for nursing. I think she's leaning towards the people who do the ultrasounds. Anywho, she did great!

So that was my night. Oh, we were at my girlfriend's house because they bought a new fridge and had troubles bringing it up the stairs and in their house, so Papabear went over to help. I went to chit chat, hee hee. Nice night!

Oh I forgot to say... Auntie, enjoy your Bible Study!
Susi... visiting your Daddy? Did you/will you bring him more snacks? Hope it goes well when you visit.

Okay, well have to email my Mom. I started this post an hour ago. That is how many interruptions I have gotten, aaaahhhhh.

Have a good day ladies! I'll be back!

Cyndie, the one sport I won't watch is baseball, I call it the spit and scratch game. It's so slow, and even though I played it a few times at the park when I was a kid, that was so much different then watching the big leagues.

I love when a human actually answers the phone now days too. :) I do hope we all helped and hope many others did too!

Hi Pine Valley Gal Pals! I see something else we all have in common! I'm not big on shopping, either. I do plan to wear my new sweater to Bible study tomorrow!

Susi, I do agree with you. Jimmy has been a Reds fan his entire life. I don't enjoy watching the games, but I admire his loyalty!

Missy, I hope that you get over your pink eye soon. The only day of work I missed in 4 and a half years was when I had it.

I did call ABC today. I was very impressed. A real person answered Karey Burke's phone on the first ring. I hope it helped!

Wishing everyone a wonderful evening!

Hugs!

Missy, the farm isn't Trent's alone, it's his family's farm, for generations. He and even Courtney work on it. Trent plows, plants and harvests with one of those huge tractors and in the off season he works on repairing them and getting them ready for the next season. His dad and uncle work on all that too except for the machine maintenance. Trent went to a trade college for that.

Courtney does a lot of the animal feeding. She loves it. They have cows, pig, dogs and cats. They plant soybeans and feed corn. Their dad, Kevin, lives on the farm home property and Trent and Courtney have homes just up the road from him. Courtney will sometime drive the bean truck to the market too.

Congratulations on getting the shawl finished! :) I am proud of you! :) Glad you're starting another one. I know they are happy with any they get so one more is awesome! :)

Yikes on the pink eye! I've never had it but know many who have and it's terrible. :) I hope you can get it cleared up fast. I feel so bad for you. Probably from one of the kids. :(

HUGS!

Good morning ladies! Happy Tuesday

Susi... I guess Ollie will have to get over being scared of the cows then, since they own a farm, hee hee. One of the children I watch have a farm too (A). They just have cows and do maple syrup. But from their Christmas card, looks like a nice place... very pretty.

Auntie Cyndie... I guess it's nice to get yourself something here or there, right?!! I never really was big on shopping for clothes, but notice I have picked up on getting dresses. But I have to slow down. My rule... bring something home, donate something. No more buying more hangers, hee hee. Glad you treated yourself to a new sweater and t-shirt.

How great would it be to have our shows back! What I was reading they think it could be true because the other soaps (other station) are trying to take the stars to their shows. I guess that only happens when they know a competitive show is doing better (If our shows come back, they could lose ratings). I guess well wait and see...

Susi, you'll be proud. I finished my SECOND prayer shawl last night! That's two in... 4 years (well we are going on our four year). I'm nothing like you, hee hee. I was happy to pass it in!!! I'm starting number three.... hee hee.

I woke up this morning with what I think is pink eye... gggrrrr... I'm always so careful. Had to make an appointment, because they no longer just call in meds... gggrrrrr. HATE PINK EYE!!! Time to clean everything again!!! aaaahhhhhh....

Hope you all have a good day. So far my start is not so good, but hoping it gets better soon!!! TTFN ladies...

Missy, I can't make up my mind which picture I like the best. LOL! Megan said Ollie was so gentle with the bunny, but I thought it was cute the cow scared him. Hehe! But he did pet it, so all is well. :) Since they are farmers they want to teach him early. Trent was driving a tractor, although a small one when he was 4. :)

No they don't share any pictures with TJ, we all have her blocked on facebook except for Kelly. Of course she would never do that.

Cyndie, I felt the same way about shopping after I quit work but still I didn't much like to shop any way unless it was something we needed. Then I was in and out stores as fast as possible. LOL!

I never was fond of shopping anyway. Greg even has to argue with me about buying under things. I wear socks even when they have holes in them and it drives him crazy. LOL! I use to mend them but I don't anymore because of my thumb. I tell him it's my choice and my feet. LOL!

The Reds huh? But still when you're a fan you should always be. :) I guess. :)

HUGS!

Hi Ladies!

Linda, it's good to see you on here, as always! Like you, I plan to call ABC about our show(s). I would be so excited if they would come back!

Missy, it's great that you're able to keep your mouth shut for family harmony. Like Susi, I don't think I could be that good!

Susi, what awesome photos of Ollie! Jimmy is just like Greg, when it comes to being a fan. He watches the Reds. (sad face).

It did feel a little weird buying things when I went shopping, since I don't have a job to go to. Still, I bought a sweater and a t-shirt.

Wishing everyone a wonderful evening!

Hugs!

Susi... Ollie is so adorable!!! Love both pictures, but the one with the bunny is great! Love it!!! Thank-you for sharing!

And not to bring it up, but I doubt they shared those with TJ... so again, you in the generation picture was perfect!!!

I think my reasoning for not liking meatloaf was because my Mom loaded it with onions! Back then I hated onions, now love them! But I'm also not a huge ground beef person, so I'm sure that didn't help. I have tried meatloaf ONCE since a child and it was my SIL's. I only tried it because it was the only thing she served and I was hunger. BUT she loaded it with some onion soup packet or something. It was okay and I had a little bit. Never again since... hee hee

I agree about my SIL, but I try to keep peace, for my MIL and FIL. Last thing they need is the family fighting. But I will say if they really come after Papabear or the cubs, watch out! I'm a Mamabear for a reason!!! (wink)

Again, very cute pictures! Growing up so fast!!!
Have a good afternoon...

Hi Linda! Thank you for doing that, I did too. :)

Ollie got his Easter picture done with a bunny. He also had his first ever experience with a calf. He cried when it mood in his face. LOL! He did pet it after a little bit though. :)

Missy, thank you for starting the new thread! :)

We never are fair weather friends for anything. At first I was for Mark Martin till he retired, then it was Earnhardt Jr. till he quit.Everybody has their rough times.

Do you eat regular hamburgers? If so I don't understand your ick for meat loaf. I just have the hamburger, onion, crackers, egg, salt and pepper in mine. If you like all that it's should be good. Just wondering. :)

I'm so excited about you getting your picture taken with Paul, that is huge! I'm so happy for you! It would be easy to get tongue tied when you're in that situation! I'm sure he understood that. :)

Sounds like it was a perfect night for the campfire. :) I would have to have s'mores with that. Hehe! Glad YC and his girl joined you for a bit. :)

I will pray the rain holds off for Saturday. I don't think your SIL and I would get along at all. I have one of those mouths that just can't be controlled when it comes to stupid people who can't control their youngin's! I take so much then have to say something.

How your friend kept from saying anything is beyond me. And the door closings? I would have opened them back up and said, if you watch them the doors wouldn't have to be closed! I'm sure that would alienate them for good, but all the better.

HUGS!

Here you go... So sorry I forgot to start a new thread. Thanks for the reminder Auntie!

Good morning and Happy Monday?!!?!! Hope it's a good day for you all...

Susi... I'm so glad Greg had a good birthday... and enjoyed his cake!!! hee hee I know it's just another day to you two, but glad it was a special, another, day... hee hee.

Sorry to read about Truex, but the season is just starting, he can turn it around! You got this Truex!!! I love that you stay a true fan and still cheer when he's not at his best! I don't like people who are, is it, fair weather fans?!! Everyone can't be the best all the time! Hoping he gets better as the season goes on!!! Go Truex!!

Meatloaf... Gross!!! I would of switched my meal choice too if it was that, hee hee. My dad and sister loved it, and my Mom made it a lot... but I hated it... made me gag, so it's likje the only meal I didn't have to eat!! Hope you two enjoy it today... eeewww... hee hee

So glad Mark & Dawn are getting away!!! I hope they have a BLESSED time!!! So very happy for them! Praying all goes well and they do have that good trip!!!

I did the same Saturday and Sunday... opened all the windows! It was SO nice hearing the birds and neighbors talking, raking, etc. It was a great weekend!!!

Auntie Cyndie... So glad you had a great visit with your parents! Love that you had fun and didn't worry about the "Spark friendly"... like Susi said, sometimes we have to just enjoy!! Sounds like you did! Good that Jimmy is so nice and helps your dad like that! Glad they get a long. Hope they each won a game of pool (wink).

So were you just window shopping or did you get something nice? Always fun either way!!! I'm sure your Mom enjoyed spending that time with you! You're such a great Daughter!!!

I had an unexpected great weekend! As you know, we went to see Paul Reiser! Loved it! I wish I knew he was doing signing after because I would of brought his book or my DVD set for him to sign!!! Oh well. I still stood in line and shook his hand and got a picture!

I sounded like a stupid start struck fan... babbling idiot! He was very sweet though. I went to talk and lost my voice... ONLY that whole time with him, grrrrr. I said "I'm a huge fan" and he came back smiling saying "Well I'm a huge fan of YOU too"... hee hee. After some more stupid words from my mouth I asked for a picture.

As Papabear took it, my phone decided to think and go super slow. Paul said a funny comment & asking Papabear if he was making a film. If Papabear or I could of thought faster we could of made a joke how we have the older phones (which we do), but it would of been funny because he talked about phones in his comedy piece we just saw, hee hee. Oh well. It was great and I got my picture!!! VERY happy we went!!

The rest of the weekend was getting ready for Little cub's party this Saturday. Papabear worked on cleaning up the back yard, and raking... looks good. We even had a campfire on Sunday night. It was nice. Little Cub and his girlfriend came home and sat with us for a while, so that was very nice too!

It's gonna rain all week here and they are talking rain Saturday right now. I'm hoping that changes and it rains all week, but good Saturday... fingers crossed! I like it when the little children can go OUT... hee hee. It's funny, I have children from 4 months to 3 year olds here all day... 5 days a week!! My nephew and nieces come over and my house for a few hours for one day and it's destroyed!! One is 5, one is 4 and the other 2-3?!! I love my SIL & BIL's, but they do NOT know how to teach their child to act at other's houses!!!

Did I even tell you how one SIL actually said, at one of my parties, "what does she expect (meaning me) to have a party at her house and not child proof?!!". I didn't hear her say it, but my girlfriend did and it took everything in her to NOT tell her off. I found it SO funny because with my job, the house is baby proofed, but I also teach the child not to touch and respect other people's stuff! I have a 7 month old here now and he knows NOT to crawl down the hallway, not to touch certain things, etc. It takes me 1-2 weeks to teach them. Yes, of course he reaches for something, but a quick "No D" and he's pulling away. If parents watch their children, all would be fine!

That party, my BIL shut every door in my house. One being the bathroom, and my guest waited and waited to go potty, till someone was brave enough to knock. This was just last year, so the girl was 4 and the boy was 2... come on! TEACH YOUR CHILDREN! This SIL sits on her fat *ss and my BIL has to watch them, but when he's busy talking, it's everyone else, who have grown children or none, watching them. We all hate it!

Okay, sorry, enough! I didn't mean to go on and on about that. emoticon

Anywho, I have to post the QOTD and feed D, he's getting hungry, hee hee. I'll be back. Have a good day ladies!

Oh, one last note... Saw this on FB. There is a long story to this, but here is the short version. Basically there is a new President on ABC and they are asking us to call to get our shows back on! There has been meetings about it I guess. Here's the info to call...

"If you have yet to place a phone call to the office of ABC Entertainment President Karey Burke (or feel like leaving another message) please feel free to do so. Just looking at our page insights, we are doing very well and we can't wait to hear from our sources inside ABC this coming week!!! Thanks for being here and aiding in this cause!!!
