I finished making homemade making candy for a wedding and a baby shower and 'DIDN'T EVEN EAT 1 PIECE OF CANDY!! emoticon emoticon To some of you out there is is no big deal, but my stomach had butterflies when i took these two orders. I kept a picture in my head of myself at what thought i would look like at my goal weight!! I kept saying to myself 'FOCUS-GOAL-FOCUS GOAL!!! I WON THE CHALLENGE!! emoticon

Yesterday I walked 7.6 miles whereas I usually walk only 1.6. I just felt like keeping on going.

Also, I signed up for a free trial at the local World Gym today, I'll be going tomorrow morning.

Working on becoming a Registered Dietitian and to lose weight to become a better self and a better role model for my (future) clients.

Got three pictures of me taken at Otakon (of course one doesn't count because it was a cosplay.com/fitness forum meetup). One guy thought I was Batman because I was wearing blue pants, a fedora, black shirt and black shoes.... don't know how that comes together... The other one was when I was wearing this DBZ Super Saiyan crown-thing with my FMA military cosplay on. It was interesting and so someone took a pic of me.

I achieved my first goal. I lost 10% of my body weight. 18 pounds down and about 30 pounds to go. Woo Hoo!

Rode my bike for 25 minutes with minimal knee pain. It's getting stronger, can't wait to get back on my favorite trail!

Bonus-burned 248 calories and help to strengthen my knee

Cathy...that is way awesome. I haven't been brave enough to try my bike...balance is an issue with me on the bike. One of my LT goals is to ride in the Hotter N Hell Hundred in August 2012 though. May not make it the full hundred miles but I'm gonna at least try for 10 miles if nothing else.

Today, I rode my bike. It hasbeen forever since I had riden it. I rode for 6.2 miles in 50 minutes and it felt great.

Wore my entire cosplay today and part of it kept falling off because it was much too large. It's only been two months!! This is the only sizing progress I have seen. Even if I had put it on wrong before, when I first got it, it still would not be this much of a difference.

I just started to walk in places during the break , the times i was in front of the T.V. When it got to be longer I would use a timer or just look at the clock to see how long i had walk. You will be surprised at the length your endurance becomes!!! This is a tip i use all the time,as the weather (95-110) is not allowing me to take those long walks outside. The benefits along with a healthy food intake has been for me as of yesterday 9bs. GONE since 7/05/11 !!!! emoticon emoticon

Major Achievement Ahead!!!

I went to the convenience store to pick up a flat rate box and there was temptation everywhere - especially the apple fritters and potato chips. I got out of there as fast as I could and avoided all those naughty things calling my name.

Bunny It takes time to start running again. Like you, I started with walking and worked my way into running. I am slow, but eventually I get there.

Slapthefatcat Way to go with the situps!! That is awesome!

Taurus Great job at getting started with the exercise again!

I was able to log another 3.75 miles this morning and am still about 13 mins per mile, but the only way to get faster is to keep running.

I am loving my walks more and more. I walked 3.13 miles this evening in 57 minutes!

Thanks MOJAVEMAMA...CONGRATS ON YOUR RUN...I am building back up to jogging again, I used to jog 10 miles a day before I hurt my knee. I miss it...but I'm getting there slowly...but surely.

Bunny Way to go with the 2 walks! You Rock!

Homebody I agree tracking is a pain, but it works. Since I started tracking on a regular basis again, I have lost 4 pounds. Just remember each key stroke is getting you closer to your goal.

I ran a little over 3.5 miles today. I wanted to quit so bad at 1.5 miles because of the wind, but I powered through it. I may have been slow, but I still did it.

This will make 3 days in a row that I've tracked everything I ate. It gets tedious but that's what worked for me before. I have to make myself record everything even if I know it will be over what it should be.

I weighed in and did body composition today.
198 lbs...that's a 1 pound increase...but I also added 1 pound of lean muscle mass so I figure that is where the pound came from. My BMI dropped to 32...was 33. Lost 2.75 inches since March (last time I did body comp) for a total all over inch los of 18.5 inches since Jan 21, 2011. I'm feeling great. I relit my spark on June 21, 2011 so I am feeling awesome now. When I relit..I was at 201.5 lbs. So I am already making progress! I have also increased my evening walk to 2.25 miles for 1 hour.

Since last Thursday when I reignited the spark, I have eaten every meal at the table, put everything on my plate for each meal, no snacking AT ALL, nothing after dinner, I am so proud of myself - love being disciplined and master of my domain....yaaaaay! emoticon emoticon

I was able to do 93 jump rope jumps in a row. It would have been more but I was too tired.
