On day four of week 27 of my exercise streak, I led a group of 21 people kayaking in the Chassahowitzka River area. The weather was great, the area beautiful, and good time seemed to be had by all.

Most of my streaks are still going. I've got 26 weeks of exercise (min 4x/week & min 30min/day). I've also got daily streaks of 188 days log on to Spark People (having a Smart Phone) and 181 days of min 5 Fruits or Veggies/day.

Temporarily letting Tracking Calories & Gratitudes going while I adjust to a new, very different work schedule.

I tried yoga this morning after my water aerobics class. I loved the stretches and was surprised that I could keep up with the class. I could do almost every pose!

I was sore yesterday from a huge workout on Monday but I strapped on a floatation belt and worked out anyway. I felt so much better later too!!!

I've made it to 23 weeks on my exercise streak & 6+ weeks of 4x/week calorie tracking. My log on streak is up to 164 days (helps to have a Smart phone for when on road) & 158 days of Fruits & Veggies.

I have another type of "streak" to celebrate. Friday will be my anniversary. My husband & I have been married 44 years.

They have accepted the bid we put on a new home. NOW, the biggest snag is to sell this one. Our realtor says that the "season" for "family type homes" is just beginning so this is good news for us!! Keep your fingers crossed and your prayers going for Bob and I.

Thanks Theresa. The support sure does help!

Even though it was chilly this morning (and I wanted to pull up the covers and go back to sleep), I hauled my posterior end out of bed and went to the gym. I ended up doing 130 minutes of water exercise and would have gone into the hot tub if I hadn't had another obligation! Ah, well, there is always tomorrow!

With my three hour+ kayak yesterday, I now have 20 weeks of exercise AND I have over 1,000 minutes this month. In addition, I have made it four weeks on the calorie tracking (4x week). There was a slight reduction on the scale today. I also have 146 days in a row of logging on & 139 days of fruits & veggies. Also, I have started tracking my days of posting Gratitudes on the SparkPeople Planner-Journal entry. My aim is at least 6 days/week. I have completed one full week.

Did a 20 mile bike ride today with seven other people. The time riding was about 2-1/2 hours but the ride took longer with stops. Had a great time & weather cooperated giving us a great day.

My exercise streak is at 19 weeks with log-on and fruit & veggie streak still going strong. I've started tracking two new things. I love that SparkPeople lets you do that. I have three weeks of a minimum of 4x/week of tracking calories.

After a workshop at work on developing Positive Attitudes, I've made a commitment of using the Spark Planner Journal function daily to do a Gratitude List. I've usedone that sporadically but I WILL make it a daily thing. In the past when I've been consistent in doing Gratitude Lists, I have been a happier person. One thing that came up in the lecture is that if you do something daily for 30 days it will become a "habit". I started doing my lists on Thursday & have set Spark up to track this also.

I plan on "rewarding" myself next week--at the end of the week I will have 20 weeks of exercise & 4 weeks of calories tracking. I got the Zumba 2 WII program for Christmas. It came with a belt to hold the remote. I only have one remote that has the cover with the wrist strap. With the cover it doesn't fit the holder very well. My reward will be a second remote. I like that I'm thinking rewards for the work I put in.

The water was too cold for me to workout in the regular pool today. Many of us did the routine in the more shallow, warm, therapy pool instead of giving up and going home. I still got a great workout!

Thanks! It has been since August so I won't know how to act! LOL

I took a day off from my home strengthening program (because of fatigue) yesterday and when I did my routine today the exercises were easier. So, there really is something to the theory that you need an occasional day of rest. (Of course I walked for 4 hours yesterday instead and was exhausted.)

My exercise streak is at 12 weeks.

I got my Christmas present early. It is an expensive exerise bike w/handles to get arm exercise. I have it behind my chair so I can exercise while watching TV. This will be a way of either/or getting more minutes of exercise in a week or having one day of 30 minutes of exercise without getting up extra early. emoticon

I went for a 7-1/2 mile hike today. This makes my exercise streak @ 11 weeks. I'm back on track to getting fit again. At last week's bike ride I realized how out of shape aerobically I am. I did better on the hike today. emoticon

My other streaks are 82 days/Log in & 75 days/Fruits & Veggie.

That's the good part--not so good about calorie counting or loosing weight.

I was able to grip my physical therapist's hands with my wrists up and push back this past Wednesday. Five weeks ago when I started physical therapy I couldn't do that at all. My therapist was so excited he looked like a little kid and made me laugh!!! The nerves to my hands are healing! Yea!

We went to Walmart tonight for hubby to get his "butter pecan ice cream" fix and I stayed in the truck and had NO part in this ritual of his!! He is in the other room cramming ice cream and I am in here, doing my sparks! Go, Me!! Plus, I kept within or below my nutritional goals for today!!
