HI Cyndi, Yeah I am still hanging around here and there. Finally got the food tracker figured out. Its easy really. I don't know why I thought it wasn't. I miss the dinners too but thats ok. Its tempting for me when I go out to eat. You guys are a great group. Spark is a good support tool.

Hey T, I pop in here and there to read the recipes and stuff but trying to get use to using a food tracker. I started using one on another site but its only the tracker no members to interact with. It has helped me. So thought I would try the one here. DH is working for a different company and gone alot he just got back after being gone 3 weeks. I am hating it and really frustrated with it. Maybe I can focus on weight loss because I don't have to cook for anyone but me. I need to be more consistant with Spark or some weight loss site. If I am ever going to get where I want to be. Thanks Linda

Thanks I will have to watch the video I haven't noticed it. It has taken me some time to try and figure this out glad to know I'm not the only one. Still need to learn more.

Linda, Go to the "My Tools" section of the first bar and then click on "my Nutrition". There is a video of about 5 minutes that explains how to do it. If you can't find it, SparkMail me and I'll walk you through it. Actually, I live in Polk County so you could come to my house and I'll show you.

For where to post messages, click on "Community" section of the top menu bar. Message Boards is the second one down. You'll see lots of topics.

It took me about 4 hours to really figure out enough of this site to enjoy it, but it has been well worth it. Welcome!!

Hi I have a question. I am not sure if I am putting it in the right topic. Anyway, I have been doing a low carb diet and have lost a little weight. I have looked around sparkpeople off and on for a while now. I like the website but can never find a place I know where to post messages. Does anyone know on the website where people discuss diet nutrition question or even daily thoughts and problems with dieting. I had been going to the Weight watchers site but don't want to pay to use a site like a nutrition tracker. I know sparkpeople has a nutrition tracker. What I am trying to do is switch to a calorie counting diet and then compare it to the low carb I have been doing. I just can't find how to use the website and get use to where to go. I've been pretty much doing the low carb by myself and just keeping track of carbs but it would be nice to have others to share with while doing a diet. I am open for suggestions as to how other people use spark people website that has helped them. Like what groups your in that go along with what your trying to accomplish. I guess i get a bit confused when I try to use the site. I am posting this I know to the Polk county group I thought maybe some of you that have belonged a while can give me some suggestions. Linda
