I have never taken a class at Planet Fitness. What I do is the 30 minute circuit. I don't know anyone else who has used it correctly and consistently. Most of the people I see in the room just use the weight machines and not the step in between.I don't know how to log it in SparkPeople trackers either.

Has anybody here taken the 360 burn classes by the PF trainer? What has been your experience? I like the workouts fine...as far as it goes...but I don't think it goes far enough.

The first trainer, who was replaced by the trainer we have now, did things a bit different than the new trainer. The first trainer would have all the stations ready to go by the time the class started. All he had to do was do a quick demo/explanation of the 7 exercises we would do. We would do 3 rounds of the exercises by the time the class time ended.

The new trainer waits until after the class time starts before setting up the 7 stations and gives us the exercise demos and explanations. The work/rest cycles are 20 sec work and 40 sec rest. I'm thinking it should be the other way around. Between her waiting until after the class starts to set up the stations and the 40 sec rest after each station, we're not getting much of a workout. We're lucky to get 2 rounds in by the time the class ends.

If the new trainer doesn't have another class after the burn (or strength) classes, I keep going until I complete 3 rounds. I even offered to pick up and clean up. I just want to get at least a 25-30 min workout, not 17-20. If I can't get that here, I might as well do one of my own.
