15 glasses is a lot! I drink 10. And I ALWAYS have to go to the bathroom! Being hydrated is inconvenient. Lol

Remember, there is also water in the food we eat everyday as well. I was watching an episode of "The Doctors" recently, and they said that it was necessary to drink water every day, but because of the water in our food, you don't necessarily need the eight glasses. They said 5-6 glasses was probably adequate.

I know, it never actually happened to me but some people on one of my other teams lost over 10 lbs of water weight once they began drinking the amount that their bodies actually needed.

I feel the same way about catching all of the water. We plan on doing it at some point but have to make sure that we get one that we can leave out all year and can take the cold tempatures.

Wish we could capture all the water that is falling from the sky right now - LOL! It is raining cats and dogs up here in the mountains and while it is nice that it will help to recharge the aquifers and all, I just wish I had the set-up right now to collect all this rainwater for future use in the garden, bummer. Yeah, I know, not on topic, but since we were talking about water...
I recently switched from soda and started adding the flavorings to my bottled water because I was SO addicted to the sweetness of the soda and was just amazed at the weight I lost just from that switch alone.

Hope that this helps to answer your questions on water.

There is a whole post on this under the bottom section of the team page. I am sorry that I do not have the link here but I am having issues connecting to Spark at work but will get on tomorrow and post it here. The post there is about much you should be drinking per your weight. Best of luck!

I've been trying to drink the required amount of water for ages now but I'm not sure how much I should be drinking. The standard is eight glasses a day but I've never seen what size of glass should be used. Is it a six ounce juice glass, an eight ounce glass, a sixteen ounce glass...?? Instead of saying eight glasses, wouldn't it be easier to say 32 ounces, four eight ounce cups or whatever?? Makes more sense to me!
