I will have to check these places out. There is nothing like that down here but maybe in Las Cruses or Roswell

I agree with all the prior posters. Sweet Tomatoes is fabulous - there's a few locations in town, one on San Mateo and one on the West Side by Cottonwood. Souper Salad is great as well, and there's lots of Asian restaurants around that should be able to accomodate a vegetarian menu :-)

There is a salad/potato/soup place called Sweet Tomatoes on San Mateo near Montgomery. Also, you can get meals to go at most Thai and Vietnamese restaurants. We like Pho Lin, which is at Central and San Mateo, next to the Desert Sands motel. Not the greatest part of town to hang around in, but the food is delish. You can get vegetarian options there.
Richard's Mexican restaurant has some options using brown rice and lentils instead of meat. You can call and get an order to go. Their food is always great! They are at Menaul and Carlisle.
I'm not a vegetarian, but I pay attention to those things, and am not averse to eating some veg meals.

Yes, there are a couple of Souper Salads in town - one on Central, West of University. And another On San Mateo, north of Montgomery. There is another place called Tomato Café - I don't go there very often, but they are good as well.

I am from ABQ, but now leave in Las Cruces, NM. I am going to ABQ for Easter Weekend and was wondering if anyone knew of good places to get salads or vegetarian dishes to go? I know I have gotten salads at Whole Foods before and liked them....any other suggestions?
