On this last night of this decade, I'm beyond grateful, for all of this, yet so much more:

-This practice and the impact it has on my life, with thanks to each of you for your part in that
-My health
-The three amazing rescue kitties I live with, especially right now that Cassie is all better thanks to great vet care
-Planning to start my new year with another hike, like I did on Christmas Day; excellent way to begin the year, in my opinion
-A few friends coming by tonight for a quiet few hours of snacks and games; particularly grateful that I know they won't stay much past 10 p.m. Ha! We're all getting older ... (kidding aside, I like my time to reflect on this night, sit and stare at a candle and ponder)
-A solid roof over my head and a few goals in 2020 to make it ever more solid
-The amazing memories of New Year's Eve past spent with my beloved Beth, physically gone, but ever-present in spirit and in my heart

I wish a most healthy and happy 2020 to each of you here ...

With gratitude and love,
Stephanie

Tonight I'm grateful for:

-Feeling better today, though I'm still sneezing and blowing (less)
-Getting a HUGE project nearly done at work so I don't have to come in to it on the new year
-Sharing my heirloom oranges, spreading sunshine, Vitamin C and healthfulness, and everybody loves them (what's not to love as they're THE BEST)
-Doing a short (20-minute) bike ride tonight whilst talking to my little 4-legged exercise buddies who exercise their eyes while I'm working my legs! Ha!
-Leftovers tonight, so no cooking needed
-Inviting a friend over for snacks and games New Year's Eve with no pressure; he knows I'm totally fine if I'm by myself, but he's one of my friends who plays Perquackey!! Yay!!

Goodnight all,
Stephanie

Tonight I'm grateful for:

-The last night of the Arboretum Luminary Walk being the absolute best, despite temps in low 20s ... just magical
-Busting my step record - 22,000+ steps from 3:30 - 9:30 (FitBit sent me an "overachiever" message that made me laugh)
-A quiet, lovely Sunday at home with the diva girls, watching big, beautiful snowflakes gently fall
-Shoveling about 5 inches from my driveway so I could go feed Pixie, my polydactyl kitty friend; definitely my cardio for the day!
-Thinking ahead and planning to work from home tomorrow, very timely given that we might get another round of snow and/or sleet
-My warm, comfortable home, complete with my soft bed and heating pad, where I plan to settle to watch the Kennedy Center Honors

Goodnight all,
Stephanie

Tonight I'm grateful for:

-Team outing this afternoon was fun; relived some of my 80s playing PacMan and pinball at the arcade (haven't lost my touch with the pinball machine)
-Discovering that I like hard cider (I've always really disliked beer)
-Another great night at the luminary walk with friends I first took two years ago; we decided it's become an annual tradition
-Another day with 15,000+ steps
-The more I walk, the better I sleep!
-Simply a delightful Friday the 13th!
-A weekend that will include some R&R with the kitty girls, our favorite thing!
-My soft, warm, comfortable bed with the heating pad warming

Goodnight all,
Stephanie
