KFANNING is right... this is a major trauma to the body and it is not unusual to be very emotional.... I actually got a case of Shingles about 3 weeks post surgery! That was my body's way of dealing with the trauma!!

Nicole,
I"m just 3 weeks out and I have been emotional as well - This surgery is a major trauma for your body and everyone reacts differently. I have had a few crying bouts myself. As for the other I would definately call the doctor and see what he recommends. Good luck and prayers that you feel better soon,

Nicole. I don't know that I have any help, just sorry to hear that you are feeling soo poorly :-(

I would def give the surgeon a call and see what they recommend. I know that is one of the issues that my surgeon would have said that I should call into the offive about.

I hope that you are able to find a solution soon and that you start to feel better soon!!! emoticon

Hey Everyone,

Nicole, I didn't have any emotional issues such as crying but diarrhea was the main reason I stayed at home for a month. I quit taking iron for several months because it was one of the causes. Check with your dr. Probably pepto or something similar will help. But again check with your dr.

I hope you are feeling better soon

Please can anyone help. I had my surgery on the 3rd and I'm feeling
awful. No pain really. Just I can't stop having loose stools. Not
like regular but explosive non controlling bowls. I've gone all over myself numbers of
Times. No warning no urge I just go. I can't leave the house to even
Walk my son to school. Also I'm so emotional all I can do is cry.
Is any of this normal? Again please help I'm desperate.
