I'm about 6 months out from my surgery.... definitely just try to follow the rules given to you by your surgeon and dietician, and you will do great! I tried to read up on all the materials that they gave me in the office and get myself prepared. Ask lots of questions, people around here are always glad to help!

I just had mine 8/20 and you will be fine. You sleep through it :)

Really it is fine - just follow all your doctors instructions and stick to what your dietician advised and when you can start what to eat - it will be a couple days before you feel like anything more than protein drink or water.

I'm finally scheduled and looking forward/nervous about the surgery. I don't know what to expect, can someone advise
