Thanks for the input! My doctor's nutritionist was part of the problem. It was 5 minutes in the office for her to weigh, set a new goal, ask if I was taking my vitamins, not drinking 30 before and 60 after and make sure I got 60g of protein, and being evasive about questions. It was quite frustrating, and became prohibitive financially.

Hey,

I'm 12 years post op, and I never reached my goal either. I have lost 110 pounds, but I continued to see a nutritionist after my one year date.
You may want to consult a nutritionist to get help. I stayed around a 1000 calories, ate protein first, and a low carb diet. Your doctor can help you see a nutritionist. Ask him for help. Otherwise I suggest a low carb diet.

Hi everyone. I'm a bit over 2.5 years, never made my goal, and couldn't continue with my dietician at the one-year mark. Needless to say I'm completely lost on how much I should be eating, how often, how many meals a day, etc. I try to stay under 800 calories and get my 60G of protein. I was up at much as 1100 calories at one point. I've searched online and of course every center and program is very different.

Though I've never made my goal, I've not gained back either, but really want to get down to the 168 she said I should reach. My weight completely stalled 6 months in when I developed kidney stones, but even then I couldn't seem to get specific information from my nutritionist on what I should be doing, just to focus on 60 grams of protein and 64 ounces of liquid.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!
