Hi there!

Today is day 1 of my new streak, and I did 30 minutes on the elliptical.

MINNIE - thanks for the welcome. Well... I've been gaining... and training to WALK the L.A. Marathon. It's quite a task, and I never thought I'd hear myself say "this week, we're ONLY walking 11 miles." But that's what the recovery weeks are these days. The race is 3/21. It'll be my first marathon (and maybe my last). I think I'd rather stick to running 5ks and 10ks. I've been having too much "good living" and it's time to balance it out with some healthier food choices :)

I got up this morning and cycled for 30 minutes! We finally put our workout room together with all our weights and stationary bike and yoga mat and stereo with cds and magazines! It was amazing to be able to go away form the rest of the household and workout without an audience.

I love that I can tell myself that 10 minutes is great and then surpass that goal!!

Hi everyone. I joined SP last Tuesday and as always have found the exercising very difficult to keep up with. I put it down to memory lapses! Now I have found SparkGuy's 10 Minute Fitness Club Group Forum group and think it is more to my liking...10 minutes is all I can manage at the moment. So I'm starting with my Jenny Craig tapes and have walked today for 10 minutes.

i must tell the new sparkers:
i started this streak about 4 years ago. at the time i had to force myself not to let a day go by without my 10 minutes. i've missed only a few days in all that time. now it's usually 30-60 minutes or more. starting is the hardest part. knowing you have to report here makes you start.
