The rain got me today, only completed 15 minutes of my run/walk. So, I guess if I can fit it in between raindrops tomorrow, I'll try again. Also, walked with DH.
Hope everyone can shake off winter soon and we can all get out there and enjoy the Spring!!

60 minute exercise class, 30 min walk with DH and 50 Jumping jacks...Then we picked up trash along the road for 1.5 hrs. Thats a lot of bending and stretching!!!

Nancy, you are such an inspiration to me, always getting your exercise in.
I have joined this group in the hopes that if I start with just 10 minutes and build on I can conquer this beast. I really have a hard time being consistent with exercise.
Doing well losing weight, but know that exercise would definitely enhance this. Wish me luck. emoticon

I did the week2 workout of the walk training for beginners (17 minutes). I also tried the 10 minutes jumping video workout, which seemed easy but I could not keep up. I will not give up, I will train everyday till I master it! After this 10 minutes working out as good as bad I could, I did the basic streching routine.

Today: 50 jumping jacks, 40 minutes walking and 20 minutes free weights.

I have a challenge this week, 2 of the grandkids will be with me all week and working 2 days. So, I'll be running them to & fro, working, cooking for DH and doing my best to get in all the fitness minutes, so guys, pray for me emoticon

MINNIE - I did FEBRUARY! YES!

NANA - I'm actually walking the marathon (not running)... but it's still a challenge! I love running, but my ankle was bothering me just as I started marathon training, so I decided to start out walking it and do some physical therapy to help me with running... as the season progressed, my ankle and knees and running those distances didn't... so I'm just walking it.

And honestly, after I do this one, I think I'm crossing "marathon" off my bucket list and sticking with shorter distances... hopefully running 5ks and 10ks.

Ok... sorry for rambling!!

Nana was naughty yesterday. Went to my brother's for grilled oysters, YUCK!! But I ate chips & dip, not too many but still... Soooooooo probably need to tighten down on my goals for a few days. I did enjoy myself and the fellowship was good. We'll call it a wonderful mental health day. Did walk 30 minutes or so.
Minnie ... you are great!!

Mejai ...you are too...can't wait to hear how that marathon goes for you. I'm just starting to run and it ain't easy...yet!!!
