I did have about a 2 weeks stent of excercising every day but missed Saturday becasue I was travelling. Got back on treadmill Sunday for 30 mins and have already done 30 mins this morning. I've started getting up at 5:00 a.m. so I can walk before work. Really do feel better from excercising first thing in the morning. Have a great day!

Thank you Paula! I think that washing the car does count, I busted my butt this weekend with my husband's car and broke quite a sweat. It was part of my father's day gift to him. I will do my best to exercise for at least 10 minutes a day. Does strengh training exercise count, too?

Welcome! MONLJS. Please....help us reach our goal and we'll do the same. I just throw in whatever exercise I did and whatever else is going on.
Tapeape - GREAT JOB! I'm on day 5 of 7 exercising in a row. Does washing the car count? I don't think its enough. I'm going to do some cardiogliding right after I finish here and logging all my food on the tracker.
Went to my parents house to give my dad a little TLC. He's a great Dad.

Had to cut my swimming today short, (got lighting & thunder) but did get in 30 minutes. This is my 7th day of making a point of doing some kind of execise.

Hi all! This looks like the type of challenge/group I need right now, so count me in! I've been trying to get creative and squeeze exercise in here and there, but I'm becoming more dedicated to working out at least every other day.

Did 40 minutes low impact aerobics this afternoon - worked up a sweat and think I pulled a muscle in the back of my right calf but I'll get over it!!

Just joined with the intention of increasing my activity level - World Cup this month is playing havoc with my exercise routing - Just completed a 30 minute walk (well stroll but counted over 4500 steps on my pedometer). Looking for inspiration from all you guys. Keep up the good work and good luck!!

I worked yesterday,
The store was so busy, I was speed walking the whole time there.
In just 4.5 hours I did 14,000 steps.
I started my pedometer when I steped in the door.

Hi! everybody. I cleaned a house today, not mine, unfortunately. This house always gives me a good workout. I go up and down 2 flights to get there and back. I must have cleaned about 3 hrs. I'll call that a good workout.

new here.... walked 30 minutes at lunch... then 60minutes with dog later on tonite after it gets cooler outside.. 83 degrees now at 9:00pm. dog will overheat and so will I. so i'll go in a little bit.

I recently joined this group in hopes of increasing my activity level. I like the idea of 10 minutes exercise per day as it isn't as overwhelming as some fitness regimes.

My intent for today is a ten-minute walk.

Question: Where do you get the weight-loss measuring icon that so many use with their signatures? I think this is a neat tool, a visual motivator that could keep me focused and I'd like to have one.

Another Question: Did I post in the correct place by using the 'reply' option or should I use the 'new topic' button. Than you thank you

Hi! Everybody. Sounds like we're all going to see results and are determined about it. I made it to the Bodypump class yesterday and then did cardio for 50 minutes. Today I rode the stationary bike for 30 minutes. I got to the gym a little late and I had to go to work a little earlie than usual. But the bike ride burned 215 calories. I lost 6lbs since last Friday. I must have been holding my water. I weighed last Friday and was 141. Then I weighed yesterday and I went down to 135. Go figure. I'm not complaining. Just reeping the benefits.

During my break yesterday I went on a walk... it took me twenty minutes to walk a mile (seems like no time at all!) and I burned about 100 calories... just on a break!

I did my regular work out later in the evening as well. At the end of the day I burned 380 calories, the walk made a BIG difference!

Tapeape-I think I would call it a streak if you made it the whole week. Don't talk yourself out of it. You are doing great! Just 4 more days and your on a roll.....I'm on my second day of the one week challenge to exercise EVERY day. I'll need all the support I can get come this weekend. I think I'll walk in the park. We have beautiful parks with really nice, long trails(Atlanta, GA).

I am so happy today. I made it to the gym! I mean, its not like I haven't been going, but its hard after the weekend to tell myself to start back. I didn't make it back until Tuesday. I should have been there Monday, right? Anyway, I did situps, arms and shoulders and then went to the elliptical and spun around for 40 minutes.

I am new on this group... I started the spark-program two weeks back. I do 30 minutes on the elliptical machine every day (except weekends).

No cold weather in Georgia. It's been too hot!
We did get some rain last night. Thank goodness. My garden was wilting. Hula hooping. I've got to try it. Its got to widdle your waist. Okay, I'm going to the gym today. I have not exercised intentionally for 3 days. I did do house cleaning and a little yard work. That counts doesn't it?
