My success this week was increasing exercise...cardio.

Snow shoveling has helped. Thank You??? Mother Nature (I'll let you know when she has overstayed her welcome...we're supposed to get snow every day for the next several days).

managed to get in a full 6 days of excersise, even with a gruelling work sceduling,and true on one day it was only 1 hr BUT i did it.

I focused on getting my 90+ minutes of good exercise time in each day and writing down everything I ate (and eating within range) - rather than the scale!!! If I exercise and eat right, I've achieved the healthy lifestyle I seek - and the weight loss will follow! emoticon emoticon

I ordered the pear and gorgonzola pizza at california pizza kitchen. It came with a side salad, but i had them box up half of the pizza right away. I finished my meal stuffed and happy, with some great leftovers!

Went out for dinner with my family and ordered the half portion of the chicken salad(they give you the fullportion of grilled chicken)It satisfied me without leaving me feeling stuffed.

Sunday, 2/14, I weighed myself at 133. I think I'm losing fat and gaining some muscle because I feel thiner and more toned. I managed to stay in the minus calorie differential (-585 average for the week) and I walked an average of 12,000 steps a day this week.

I really had a crummy week. Hurt my back on Tuesday morning at the gym. Spent two days on the couch and nibbled. Blew my calories out of the water and gained back 2 pounds. UGH! But..... This is a new week. I refuse to let a bad week stop me!

I hit the 10 pounds gone mark this week! And I was able to resist food I would normally scarf down with almost ZERO effort... Even Cheez-Its! It's a miracle. Lol. Plus, I ran over 3 miles. It's been a good week. :)

wearing my heart monitor to find out that i burn 600 walking my dogs to the dog park....and getting on sparkpeople website on the weekend...

Getting in a work out on my day off from work. It would have been nice (and easy) to skip it but I did a great, sweaty work out and felt better becauase of it. And am I sore today!

my daughter commented on how muscular my legs looked.here i've been focussing on the size of my stomach.it's nice to havea different perspectiveand i still have 35 pounds to go!

I tried new active things that I haven't done before. One was to exercise every morning with Leslie Sansone, and another was to try a Zumba class. Also, went on a business trip, but first checked the internet to see what active things I could do. Found a wonderful trail and walked 5 miles with my dogs even though it was cold and I almost chickened out. I even jogged a bit, and for the first time ever, it felt good. Had fun with all of them! Exercise is becoming a natural part of my life again.

My success this week was how so many people noticed I had lost weight and commented on it! I have been waiting and the comments are finally coming my way. It really helps to vailidate how good I feel!
