It looks like everyone one has the same idea that I have ... this is a perpetual journey. I love being a student; maybe it's one of the reasons I like this site so much. It's fun that we all started at the same time. We can compare our progress over the upcoming months and years.

I just started step 3 of the program this week. It is ten weeks long so I think I would consider it a graduation when I go to step four. That final step will be my career since I'm a fan of this site. I tell everyone about it. I've never felt so full of energy and life before this. I think my husband is jealous of all the time I spend online tracking, reading articles, and following the videos. I only wish I found out about the site sooner.

For me, like many of you, graduation will be reaching my goal weight...then the tough stuff starts...my PHD will be when I have maintained or bettered my weight loss for, oh about 5 years. Hmm, guess that makes me a permanent fixture here. emoticon

My graduation won't be a goal, but I think I'm looking forward to SP Prom!

I have a Chinese dress that I want to fit into once again. Red, satin, a dragon and phoenix woven into the fabric. Seems a shame to have it languish in the closet- SO now it is my goal.

(Along with better blood pressure, reduced hot flashes, sleeping easier... sounds like mid-terms!)

Oh heck....probably never. When I finally get this weight off....I'll have to learn to keep it off, which will undoubtedly be a life-long project. But at least I'll be healthier then! I'm enjoying this spark site and all of you and that makes it alot more fun and interesting! Onward to another great week!!! :o)

I think graduation will be when I no longer have to think about eating good food but choose it automatically. When will that be? Who knows but the day I do I will let you all know.

I just hope I can pass one test at a time, pass one grade (goal) at a time, and then once I learn to sit at that goal without it being a conscious effort, I'll consider myself ready to graduate. (Maybe I'll stick around and teach. Hmmm?)

I agree with all of you! I believe graduation is when I get to the point in which I meet my weight loss goals. Then I get tossed into the real world, where I have to utilize the information I learned "throughout my studies" in order to maintain my weight. I, too, will always be a Spark member, though. Even if I get to my ideal weight, this website is too resourceful to walk away from it.

Like the rest of you, I believe I will be a perpetual student. My weight has always been a struggle, and I suspect that even with healthy lifestyle choices, I'm still going to have to be vigilant and never let my guard down.

I feel like I'll graduate from "undergrad" when the weight is gone, and that goal is 2012, but then there's always "grad school."

I too think I'll be here for a long time, even after I've reached my goal weight (sometime next year?). I like the community I've found here, and know that after I've reached my goal I'll struggle to maintain it and not relax like I've done with every other weight loss I've achieved.

Learn from the mistakes of others - you'll never live long enough to make them all yourself.

Well I've heard maintaining weight loss is harder than actually losing the weight. So- I'm in it for the long haul! This is the first time I've started a weight loss program and not been in a huge hurry. This time I'm taking it slow (as spark suggests!) and making little changes. I'm hoping this way I won't lose steam like I have every other time.
