it will give you all the information you need. I actually joined this team and really love it.

I believe it is both, but if you track it in cardio AND in strength training then you are double tracking and scewing your Spark Fitness Minutes numbers.

I realized this when I was doing Spark videos.. there are some that can be tracked in Cardio, so I would click the button to add the video to my Strength Traning list, and then enter it in my cardio as well. Now if I am going to do a Spark video that can be counted as cardio, I prefer to enter it in as cardio (there are only a few that come up as options under Other Exercises) even though it was strength training as well.

Prettypolly, if you scrolled in the message you would find that I did tell you how to track your Curves workout. It is listed under Cardio, not Strength Training... search for "curves" and you will find the circuit workout.

Yes, I noticed that the Curves workout is not on the fitness tracker. Maybe they will add that since Curves is an advertiser on the site.
I am not sure how to count it, but I have just started. I would be very interested in knowing how to count my 45 minute curves workout.

Walking is cardio, not strength training. Therefore, no, you're not counteracting your Curves workout :). In fact, extra walking is great! Keep it up :).

The note I mentioned is only if you're going to do more strength training, like the strength exercises shown on this site.

Hi ladies!
I actually work at Curves. One thing to keep in mind if you do extra strength training - do it on the days you go to Curves! If you do it on the other days, you'll minimize the effects of BOTH workouts.
Have a great day!

I'm a Curves member and have been for about five or six years now. I love it. Thanks for the tip on how to track my Curves workouts, too, because I was sure wondering.

Thank you Kate! I found it and have entered my workouts.

I am disappointed that it doesn't count the strength training as well, but am now determined to do some of the exercises they have here at home, so maybe I'll see more progress.

Curves is a women only center where the workouts are only 30 minutes (although you can choose to do more if you want to). There are "stations" set up in a circle and the time at each station is (I think) 30 seconds. The stations are set up so you alternate between pieces of equipment (strength training), then one cardio stations (run or walk in place). 30 minutes is not a long time, and you'd think that having only 30 seconds at a time on one station doesn't do anything, but I leave in a full sweat and feel really good afterwards. Some centers have classes or other activities depending on their size and management. Check out their website - www.curves.com to see what they centers look like.

I'm not a Curves Member but have thought about joining. Whats it like? I'm not very motivated to exercise. emoticon I love walking when I can talk my self into it and I also have a treadmill but don't use it.

There is actually a Curves tracker... track it under Cardio, not Strength Training. search for Curves and you will find it. Then just enter in the time you did it for.

Hi there!

I joined Curves this week, and my trainer there recommended this site - I LOVE IT!

She stated that she had heard that Curves workouts were available in the fitness tracker, but I've been unable to figure out how to record them since the workouts are interval resistance training and the tracker wants reps and minutes. I can't find matches for some of the Curves machines either.

Any suggestions? emoticon
