I would also be interested in what other kinds are good for feet that are flat no arches and I have had two bouts of very painful plantar fasciitis so am careful what I can choose. My last two pair were saucony and my orthotics fit in them but they are wearing thin and the other saucony were two heavy and warm feeling
If anyone has found nice light walking shoes for spring coming ideas would be great
Thanks

Glad I found this because I am in need of some new, long lasting walking shoes.
I am currently wearing a pair of 4 year old, and yet still in good condition, Asics.
I have gone thru a pair of Kswiss, which while very cute, did not support my feet. A pair of Saucony, which wore out very quickly, the thread starting coming apart at the toes.
A pair of New Balance.
My least favorite---Nike. Gave me zero support and the backs broke down too fast.
Most favorite--Asics.
So, back to the Asics, and I am really looking for a good pair of shoes.
Here are my issues, flat feet, with custom orthotics, although, when I wear the orthotics my feet seem to get worse, so I prefer gel.
Brooks seem to get a big nod.
I will enjoy reading everyones comments.

Kind of an old topic, but I'll post.

I wear Sketchers, b/c they're the only shoe I've found that don't kill my feet over a day's walking. I also like them b/c they are lace free, you just slip them on.

I have two pairs, my older ones are Sketchers Elite(leather), the newer are Sketchers Relaxed Fit (cloth).

Brooks pure cadence are my absolute favorites. Lightweight and flexible but still cushy and sturdy. Though the newer versions are narrower so I have been buying older styles online. Recently purchased a pair of hoka one's and they are growing on me. Hated Nike Pegasus and hate my Mizunos to heavy and stiff.

What brand walking shoes (sneakers) do you currently own? emoticon

How many pairs of walking shoes (sneakers) do you own? {You can never have too many! emoticon }

Of all the walking shoes (sneakers) you've owned (past to present), which has been your favorite pair? Least favorite pair?
