I do the same as ELIZ but toss in some ground flax seed for fibre and sometimes Spirulina (FYI it turns the smoothie a weird green brown colour but doesn't change the flavour).

Smoothies are great for getting the daily requirements of fruits and dairy in one tasty glass.

I usually make them everyday when I want them. I just use yogurt (generally vanilla), and what ever fruit is on hand that day. I do buy frozen fruit to keep in the freezer just in case I don't have any fresh. When I use frozen fruit I use a little bit of juice to thin it out some.

I love smoothies and I am wanting some new ideas. Would love if you guys would share your favorite smoothie recipe with me. Also I was wondering if you guys make fresh smoothies everyday or if you make enough for a couple of days? Thank you in advance
