Hi Feather, Keep working your program to the best of your ability.

My program mainly consist of praying and journaling, I go to meetings when I can. I enjoy listening to OA speaker app. I abstain from fast food and alcohol for a few months, a few weeks ago added all junk food. found too much at once and I was too overwhelmed to do anything. So I add a my HP shows me.

I know you can do this, you are not alone.

Just finish my breakfast. Looking to post my points and reading my teams shares. I try to read and post daily. I am working my program to the best of my ability, going to PT twice a week eating within my range, reading my books and praying daily.

There is power in well-chosen words, and often there is equal power in silence. Learning when to talk and when to listen are among the most powerful skills you can develop.

Awesome. I too desire to have my cravings lifted. I had some days of abstinent eating, but gave in to binging. I can eat 2 pounds of cookies in one day....can you say hard on one's health?? Ugh. I hope we find serenity and healthful eating this week emoticon

I'm learning to ask for the food cravings and compulsive behaviors to be lifted.

I am learning this step as of today. ASKING for humility knowing that I can't do it on my own. I am glad that I feel my HP is my friend. Someone that I can really talk to and be myself.

Step 7: Humbly asked Him to remove our shortcomings.

Tradition 7: Every OA group ought to be fully self-supporting, declining outside contributions.

Spiritual Principle 7: Humility

How do you apply these to your life daily.

I ask m HP to remove food cravings and stress everyday. I know I can not recover with these shortcomings in my life.

I give to all meetings I attend. I make it a non-negotiable to give- without the group I can not recover.

Humility- I am working on not controlling and judging others. This is a shortcoming on my character defect list when I reach that step.
