Just what I was thinking, it would be something new for me and being part of the stash buster challenge it would give me motivation to complete it.

perhaps you can do this for the July stashbuster challenge

Everybody tells me that they would love to knit, but they don't have time. I look at people's lives and I can see opportunity and time for knitting all over the place. The time spent riding the bus each day? That's a pair of socks over a month. Waiting in line? Mittens. Watching TV? Buckets of wasted time that could be an exquisite lace shawl. ~Stephanie Pearl-McPhee, At Knit's End: Meditations for Women Who Knit Too Much A true friend reaches for your hand but touches your hea

I want to make myself a simple cardigan but not sure about all the picking up of stitches along the front. I made a cardigan a while back but only wear it in the house as it was my first attempt, it looks okay but the front band could look better.
Picking up loads of stitches and making sure they are placed correctly and that I get the correct number of stitches was a challenge.
Is there such a thing as a pattern that does not involve picking up loads of stitches for the front bands?
I have looked on Ravelry but wondered if you knew of a patten that was easy and still looked nice.
