Welcome home! You know, you can always get more specific later. Of course, No S cannot defy the laws of physics or good health. but since many of us were making no headway, starting with something simple that lets us have some joy that is NOT just from eating highly restricted food is such a boon!

There is a thread on the main site called "Why did you leave? Why are you back?" I can't tell you the number of times people report that they left because they weren't losing fast enough and thought they could do something more strict, only to return, often heavier, sick to death of putting themselves in and then busting out of food jail. And also often wishing they had just kept it up from the beginning. But sometimes, it cab really galvanizes a person's efforts to know what the options are and how unworkable they are.

Well done Jean - I lost a stone (14 pounds) just by eating whatever I wanted at 3 meals a day. My meals were worth waiting for. And you're right - we weren't designed for complicated diets - we were designed for peaceful enjoyment of our meals.

I'm posted on this team before but never actually committed to NoS for more than a day or two. It must be nearly 10 years since I first found the NoS site and right from the word go I was drawn to the simplicity and the normality of the plan. But I have tried a million diet plans since and am no further forward in stopping binge eating or losing weight.
The last few weeks I have been trying yet again to find the "right diet plan for me". My head is spinning with all the low carb/high fat/low calorie/fasting etc. etc. I have been researching, and my eating has only got more unhealthy and disordered.
Yesterday I just wanted my head to stop all the complicated spinning, and the thought "Just eat 3 meals" popped into it. That's what I did, ate 3 normal sized meals, and felt more at peace.
Today I am on plan for just 3 meals again. I have promised myself that if I get too hungry between the meals I will have a satisfying drink such as Bovril or milk.
