Since it is just two of us I'm making cherry glazed cornish hens with dried cherry bread stuffing served with mustard mashed potatoes, glazed carrots, cranberry sauce, and apple pie for dessert.

I am not sure. I had planned to make crab cakes with couscous and green beans, but on our way home I had a cup of clam chowder and a roasted beet vegetable salad and now at 5:30 there is no way I can eat another meal.

Love seeing all of the creative and different dishes everyone is having for dinner.

Happy to say the pierogies I made were a hit and gobbled up by the family. Will definitely be making this recipe again. I think in the future I will double the recipe and freeze some up for those nights when you just don't have time to devote to dinner.

Tonight is cottage pie. I found a leftover piece of sauerbraten, so mixed it up with veggies and topped with mashed potatoes. It's an adaptation of a WW recipe, frozen meat rather than cooking up ground beef.

I am making a pot of dried white beans with the ham bone left from a ham we bakes about 3 weeks ago. I throw it with thw small amount of ham in the freezer for this. We are having cold weather and I have been waiting on that for one of my fvorite. I wmake enough to frrze for another meal

Hello all,

I have been on Spark People on and off for a few years now and getting back into the swing of things after having pneumonia the whole summer and early fall. Ugh! I've been on this 'team" for a bit now but never have written. I am a foodie and love to cook! What is everyone planning for a healthy dinner tonight.?

I am going to try to make pierogies from scratch following a recipe from Cooking Light magazine and alongside it some homemade purple sauerkraut from cabbage I grew over the summer.

Yum! Looking forward to chatting with you all.
