The Premier protein bars pack a walloping 30 grams of protein per serving. since I don't care for meat and many other proteins, this is a great way to at least achieve my minimum daily protein requirement. I buy the 15 pack box at Sams Club with 5 bars each in double chocolate, chocolate peanut butter and yogurt peanut.
Most importantly, it does not feel like I am eating a candy bar. There is just enough chewiness and flavor to know I am eating a good thing without grabbing for another bar like I might a Snickers.

Yeah, I'm the same way Foxy. Oatmeal just does not fill me up. I don't know why. Also, pancakes (3 of them are only 230 cals) make a good breakfast and tend to suppress my sweet cravings for the rest of the day.

For me would be eggs as well along with ground turkey with beans, squash and etc.

I can't eat oatmeal in the morning..one hour later I would be so hungry.

I've started eating eggs for breakfast most mornings. I bought two silicone "poach pods" at Crate & Barrel, and they are so easy to use. You just crack an egg into each pod and float it on boiling water in a covered pot for 5 minutes, and you have delicious poached eggs.
Anyway, ever since I've started eating eggs, I've noticed that I don't need a mid-morning snack, and most days I don't even want lunch until 1 or 1:30. It used to be that I would need a snack at 10:00 am and I was counting the minutes until 12:00 pm when I could eat my lunch. Then, of course, I would need an afternoon snack, and I would still be ravenous by dinner. Not so, anymore.
It got me wondering... what foods have you found that give you energy and keep you feeling full and satisfied for hours afterwards?
I'd love any suggestions!
