I love the ONE because it doesn't show. Can't have something strapped on my arm and wear tank tops. The FLEX sounded really great except I have my hands in water ... deep in water ... when I am at work. Love the floor and sleep tracker!

I just got my Flex on Monday--it's my first Fitbit. I am enjoying it and haven't had any problems. I've got arthritis in my knee so it is hard to walk for more than 1/2 mile without pain, but I discovered that if I put my hands on my knees while on my stationary bike, it does register "steps." Made my first 5,000 step goal yesterday.

Slow and steady wins the race.

seems to be a problem with the dongle causing skipping cursor problems. I removed the dongle and no skipping cursor.

It would have been typing randomly and putting letters in weird places and causing me to curse too, if I had had the dongle in while typing this .

I will continue to experiment to make sure this is the cause of the problem.

Just got a Flex yesterday. New to electronic trackers, but so far so good. I haven't worn a watch in years nor ever a band. That will take me a while to acclimate. I overdid it to see if it were accurate and give it a try. Wound up walking close to 10 miles. I think it did pretty well. synced easily.

did you try putting your one in a bowl of rice to see if it will absorb some of the water

Everybody tells me that they would love to knit, but they don't have time. I look at people's lives and I can see opportunity and time for knitting all over the place. The time spent riding the bus each day? That's a pair of socks over a month. Waiting in line? Mittens. Watching TV? Any updates on the Flex?
My fitbit ultra just went through the laundry and am thinking of getting the Flex so I don't have to remember to take it off when I change.

I am thinking about getting the flex, but I want to do more research first...

I think Bodybugg/Bodymedia are probably the most accurate. Unfortunately though I cannot wear them because they make my arm itch like mad, then my skin gets all weird and blistery/dry. It is weird because I am not usually allergic to anything but I cannot wear those. Even with a brand new one it happens pretty quickly.

MELZANA - how did you like the body bugg? Were the measurements more accurate?

I bought one and started using it last night. I have had all the fitbits, the bodybugg and bodymedia. I'm hoping this one will make things more simple for me since I don't really have to remember to put it on every day hahaha. So far, I don't really notice it is there, but I am not very fashionable :)

I am sticking with the One...mostly because I just bought it LOL. And also because it won't go with my work clothes. Al least my One counts flights (I am going up and down them all day) and No one has to know I am wearing it. I did suggest they make a bright yellow plastic holder for it, so you'll see it when you put your clothes in the hamper ( which I have done more than once) emoticon

did not get it since it does not count stairs climbed and also since I have my hands in water a lot during the water, afraid of water getting in it. also for a woman, does not go well when you get dressed up.

I've had the ultra for over a year now. Will probably need to milk it some more before I "re-up"

I just set up my new flex. I have great hopes for this new form. The ONE was too cumbersome. The wrist band should work better. Anyone else get the FLEX?
