I walked for 21 minutes on the treadmill and I am increasing the time to 25 minutes at 2% incline and 2 mph. I am slowly working my way back to the 30 minute mile, then I will increase the incline. As I do not like to sweat my previous 30 minute mile did not break a sweat with the increased incline I break a sweat and slightly elevated breathing. I have to check my level of pain (so far none). I feel much better.
Our yard is small and I mowed (power mower) half the yard. My back feels so good with that little workout.

Yes, I increased my walking (with agreement of doctor) to 20 minutes at 2 mph with 2% incline. No pain and no sweat so I can do more but I will wait until next week.

Intend to use treadmill today and to go outside.

My third cardiologist gave me the go ahead for walking exercise. I started back with .5 mile on the treadmill at 1% incline and 2 mph speed. The speed and incline are where I left off but I was doing a mile. I also walked, to get the mail which had given me pain in the past but did not. The pace was slow as I was with my husband who never walks but is starting.

I have an appointment with my first cardiologist the end of September. I will keep a record of my pain, if any, and the slow increase of the exercise. I will also continue to water plants (with broken hose it now means carrying water ) I actually have several eggplants and I am so pleased. Weeding must get done also.

Just writing this down makes me so much more hopeful. I am so thankful for this site.

Went for a 45 minute today. Fitbit isn't working right so it said I only burned 39 calories, what the heck! Not reading my heart rate, guess it's time for a new one!

I ordered a battery powered hand held edge trimmer from Amazon. I had one from Walmart but it played out. Ordering from Amazon is so easy and convenient especially at this time of year. I love the tourists they add so to our economy but they make shopping difficult also. So this was ordered and delivered and I used it for touching up edges of my flower gardens. I also mowed for a little until battery ran out. Finally, fed the potted flowers

I took my time and completed the tasks. Love the colors of the gardens

I will be having a stint put in next week so this is the big house clean out. I cleaned out cloths and such and brought two bags and one box to good will. Also broke down boxes for recycling. Not formal exercise but so satisfying.

Yes, I worked in garden still avoiding preparing last plot, but did a lot of little finishes and it is looking good. I planted 2 eggplants, I wonder if I will get any or if the critters will re-discover my garden. I stopped veggies when I knew I was feeding a family of groundhogs that had moved in under my shed.

Thanks for the info about the others who have lost the bee balm. I am still working on building up the soil in that little garden. I actually walked outside in my neighborhood yesterday. I am fearful of walking outdoors - out of my yard. I will do it today also .

I was working in my flower garden yesterday. I seem to have lost a bed of perennials - "Red Bee Balm". I had transferred many to a new bed last year and they are not as yet up. I have others that can be moved but I think I will add some nutrients to the bed before I transplant. The humingbirds love the red so I hope to be successful.

Sun is our now hope to start this project today.

I have been getting in 20-30 minutes at least 5 times a week, I have just been lax about posting it here.

Oh my, where did the week go?

I did 30 minutes on bike today, walked 20 minutes yesterday,

I had company for the weekend and got a little derailed, but back on track this week.

Sunday, I did 30 minutes on my bike. It took 3 tries 1-15, 1 ten minute, 1 five.

On Friday I rode my bike 25 minutes. I did it in 2 tries, 1 for 10 minutes and one for 15. Do not know if I can do more at one time. I will keep trying.

On Thursday I was back to the bike, 25, minutes. Also was out in garden and learned how to power wash. Then blew it with pizza!

I would like a good excuse but I don't have one. I did some marching in place, as I have no stairs I try to march in place 3 times a day to duplicate some of the movement. But nothing else. I started cooking and no bike for me!

I managed 30 minutes on the bike yesterday and today. I may have to give it a break tomorrow if my knee keeps hurting. Our road is too icy and slushy to try walking just yet.

Plus have sinus issues, perhaps cold coming on. Will see what tomorrow brings. But mastered today!

Yesterday I walked and road the bike. I am sore in my stomach muscles, but I want that as I need to stay standing straight.

Great! I got a 30 plus walk in this noon, so sunny and bright outside, it felt good. I think I went about a mile and a half. Had to slow up in places due to ice, but went up a big hill!

We have got this!

Great job!

I went for a walk when I got home, about 4 pm, the sun was still out and it was pretty. Walked for a half hour.

I aim for 5 days of 20 minutes plus. I have done 3 days so far this week, and will also do Friday and Saturday, giving me 5 days.
