I'm getting that trophy! :-) I joined too many teams, and I was looking at them trying to figure out how to get off some of them so I can be more serious about the ones I really want to focus on, and I remembered why I joined this team. My perfectionism says 10 minutes isn't worth putting on shoes & socks for, but my dog begs to differ. We went on a 21 minute walk today, and I can tell it was hard for him...maybe harder than it was for me for once. Since I want him to live forever, I need to do what I can to help him. Twenty minutes doesn't sound like much to me either, but I need to start somewhere. Day 1 since 7/2011.

Most days I do more than 10 minutes. My average is probably about 60 minutes or a little better for each day. My job is very physically active and I try to do a formal workout of some sort each day. Yesterday was an hour of yoga with a class.
Going to do something today, just haven't made up my mind. Vegging for a minute before I go upstairs and choose a workout!

This time is THE time!

My Vision Statement:
To get off of my medications; Cholesterol statin, Hypothyroid levothyroxine,after effects from statin is hitting my quads and sharp pain in knees, to finish a marathon and too get at my healthy weight at 146lbs, so I can look better and do more things; to be able to work more active jobs, run a marathon, wear better clothes- more of a variety and feel better. To have more energy and get rid of my sleep apnea. I am feeling more energetic and sleeping better.

So I've been good with exercise but I do have an all or nothing mentality. So this is more to encourage me to embrace 10 mins. My goal for this week is to do 10mins of fitness everyday, even on rest days-although that can be low intensity. I also want to eventually be hitting 10,000 steps everyday. So I will, start with 8,250 this week and increaseven weekly.

Hi!
I started my challenge on monday... but on tuesday I didn't do my 10 mintes (however I walked 11 000 steps, does that count?:D ). Today I hopped right back.

My goal for the first week is to dance with a kinect game for at least 10 minutes. Then I will add some video based exercises (strength and cardio). Maybe later walking outside as well (but it seems that I'm lazy to get dressed and go outside :D.

Day one done! It was a running day anyway, so as my training plan called for I ran 7 quarter mile repeats. I was aiming for 2:10 and that was about my average.

I really want to do this challenge to help me keep busy on my non-run days! I need more cross training and more overall activity.

Working on your ideas to make sure to get up and move every hours, if I can make happen for 10 minutes each time. So far this is a great reminder to set the alarm, otherwise it is too easy to get wrapped up with what I'm doing.

Been walking early every morning since I live in Arizona and it will reach 112 today. I will do some more exercising indoors today! Just keep moving !! emoticon

I started this challenge on 5/29/15--each day that I am at work I make it a point to get up and walk around for at least 5-10 minutes every hour or so ( I have a desk job)...when I am home I try to be on the move which is easy since I have a 2 year old!!

I have completed this challenge several times, but it has been a few months since I've tried or kept track. TODAY I am back! emoticon

Day 1 - did 2 songs with my daughter on Just Dance..I might have been singing more than dancing though! Then we did a family bike ride, 2.2miles. emoticon
