I went for a walk and I did a beginners lower body strength training workout.

You have a choice, you can throw in the towel or you can use it to wipe the sweat off your face.

I road the Precor bike for 20 minutes, then worked out with the stability ball for another 20 minutes. Felt great!

I took my two grandchildren to a beginners hip-hop dance class. Then we went home and I tried the moves....I only lasted 10 minutes (give or take a minute) and I do not have the muscles in my quads nor do I have the rhythm to do this. My knees are killing me too. But I did work up a sweat!

I played pool volleyball yesterday with friends on the 4th of July yesterday AND today I went swimming in the pool for an hour: a combo of laps and treading water and silly games with my sweet daughter. I'm determined to make it for 30 straight days. This will be a huge accomplishment for me!

I swam with my daughter in our pool the first time this season. It was so wonderful! ALSO, I had more cleaning to do in our pool house, so I waited for it to be 7pm and got busy. 2 hours later it was looking pretty good. Even that late, I had sweat dripping off my nose as I worked. BUT the reward is we're having friends over tomorrow for the 4th of July!!!

I'm struggling a little this morning--it's Monday. I didn't make it to the gym @ 6am as usual but I have an assortment of equipment under my desk including dumb bells, weighted band and a 9lb medicine ball--so no cardio today--just strength training for about 20mins. Have a great day!
