I have been on a weight plateau for 11 months. During this time I have gone down one pants size, and I'm up to 52 pushups and 52 crunches with a twist each day. I call that REAL results!

What (non scale) result have you seen?

Let me try to count:
1. do not need nightly tums!! (effective 2nd day back on Spark)
2. My white cords fit!!
3. All my clothes fit better.
4. I really try to think before I eat mindlessly.

I'm smaller! Even though the scale hasn't moved that much I've lost 5 inches on my body! I only measure about once a month, so when I haven't measured I can just tell that I'm smaller, that my clothes are fitting better. I find those signs of improvement work better than the scale, since it is a frienemy of mine. emoticon

My loud, pounding heartbeat / palpitations have stopped that horrible loud pounding.

My eyes look clearer, my skin is glowy, my hair is shinier (being autoimmune, that's major), and my nails are stronger.

All of that happened within a couple of weeks after I started tracking sodium.

While my scale isn't moving... I learned today that my body is changing!! I have been exercising regularly for 4 weeks- and I have lost a full inch on my waist, 2 inches on my thighs and 3/4 off of my calves for a total of 3 3/4 inches less of me!

I needed to see that!! It is very motivating.... had a great workout today because of this!!!

At the local CURVES we have a member in her mid 80s. She works out faithfully, but she missed a session when she went to the doctor about a "lump" on her arm. Turns out it was a bicep. Doctor showed her one on her other arm. She said she had heard of those, but didn't know women could get them!!

I went from 22/24 pants down to 18/20 pants
I went down 2 dress sizes
My jacket fits loose on me
I lost 27 1/2 inches total according to measuring tape emoticon
My triple chin is gone...it's now 1 1/2 haha
my pumps slip off my feet when walking in them emoticon
my back doesn't hurt anymore emoticon
no longer on medications
blood pressure is 111/79 instead of 149/91 emoticon

- bye bye diabetes (normal A1C, no more meds)
- better sleep
- less sleep apnea
- breathing getting better
- more stamina
- more fun (5ks, volunteering, playing)

- an ever-growing collection of workout clothes!

Unfortunately since I have gained instead of losing the size of my clothes are bigger and I am running out of things to wear. Hopefully we can get back on track financially along with getting another job soon so I can concentrate on losing weight again. Right now money for groceries is pretty much non existant so cannot always get the best foods for losing weight.

I can breathe better, mostly due to not smoking, which helps me to jog longer at a stretch. My stamina has increased, and my waist has decreased. Yay!

My clothing fits more loosely.
I can do almost four segments (four miles) of walking with my Leslie Sansone tape. (When I started I could only do ten minutes.)
If I skip a workout I really crave exercise. (Better than craving chocolate!)

1. The clothes I buy are a whole lot smaller!

I have more strength and less pain -- I can do things I used to do. My very first non-scale results was about a year ago and I was able to get in and out of the car without hitting the steering wheel release to raise it to get in and out. I was (and still am!!) SOOOOOO happy about that!!

1. My bra size went down. emoticon
2. Dropped 3 clothing sizes emoticon
3. More positive attitude each day
4. Better medical reading for my blood pressure which is staying consistent and low, but healthy. Plus my cholestrol readings have been going down. emoticon
5. I get cranky if I cannot do my workouts
6. My face is thinner, skin is healthy looking (all that water), and I can actually look down and see my feet.

Clothes I bought in November and December are already too small. I'm wearing clothes again that I hadn't been able to in a long time. I've lost several inches and definition in my arms is more readily apparent. I'm sleeping better too.

I developed a "tumor" under my breast. Turned out to be a rib! And now, I can feel my hip bones. Can't quite see them yet, but I can feel them. Those 2 things are on top of feeling SO much better, having Much more energy, way less PMS problems, and a general sense of happiness and I even have a bit of self confidence now.

I have gone down sizes in pants and shirts. I have also reduced my body fat by a big percentage. Gone from morbidly obese to obese. I have loss a total of 15 inches since august.

2016 I will hit the gym 6/7 days a week. I will eat more protein, fruits and veggies. I will really cut back on the carbs.

I am down a size and my current size fits looser. I can wear tops I haven't been able to wear in a long time. I have lost inches, I have more energy and a more positive attitude. I am sleeping better. I don't mind the "taste" of water anymore.

Original SW on 1/1/11 - 204.4 lbs.
Original GW on 9/1/11 - 134.5 lbs
Original GOAL ACHIEVED! 70 lbs. banished!

New SW on 1/1/19 - 204, back to the very beginning
New GW by 12/31/20 - 135

As with any diet you lose weight all over the body. But the most revealing that shows progress is that I have gone down 6 sizes in my pants and about ready to lose another size.

Sometimes those stubborn scales stick in the same spot for weeks.
What positive results have you seen otherwise?
1. measurements,
2. unmeasurable physical changes,
3. changes in your attitude

Here are mine!
1. my upper arms are smaller
2. I can put on my jeans while standing up...so far, just one leg at a time! emoticon
3. I nag all my friends to get more exercise!
