Can't remember ever buying one but must have ...Never saw them in a roving truck, only at carnivals or fairs when I could get a soft serve instead which I preferred..

Personal goal is to weigh in 159 by the end of May 2019. I did not make my previous goal so must do better...I ACHIEVED THE GOAL OF REACHING 151 IN MAY 2013. A LOSS OF 37 POUNDS! Summer of 2014 I gained 10 pounds of it back while traveling to the BVI's and Ireland so I have set a new goal for 2019 to be back to below 155.

I don't recall being a fan of snow cones. When my son was 9 he had his first and only snow cone and the people had a great variety. He thinks his was watermelon and I got rootbeer.

I got snow cones at the fairs, I think. I know I've had them, just can't remember where other than at a church block party last year.

My parents would never buy snow cones anywhere, anytime, from anyone. Something about the sugar. Noting the comments of others, we had an ice cream truck go down the street when I was growing up but my father refused to let me buy from it. When we lived in our last house in Colorado there was an ice cream truck that went down the street but we never brought from him. And we hated the jingles.

Our guy was "Mr. Softee" with soft-serve from his musical truck. There were many iterations over the years including sno-cones, hot dogs, and burgers and even the Good Humor man. One local bakery had a station wagon set up with insulated compartments in the back that went to all the places people worked or gathered and sold a variety of sloppy joes and hot dogs baked into the rolls. Their version of an onion cheeseburger is a heavenly memory. A guy I graduated with still sets up a hot dog and sno-cone truck around town in nice weather. I think he just does it to stay busy, but he must make a buck at it as he's been doing it for ten years or so.

Wait, do you mean the ice cream truck that plays music down the streets?

Always WANTED to, but could not afford to.
Only did a few times.

THEN... a few years ago, I found out that my mom and dad had been buying from the ice cream truck after we kids were no longer in the house!!!!!! WHATTTTTT?????
They got a kick out of me learning THAT bit of news.

We kinda hate the ice-cream truck now. For some crazy reason the driver thinks it will draw us to him by adding a very annoying nasal, "HELLOOoooOOOO!" between the music replays. It grates on a person's nerves sooooo badly! I feel like catching up to the guy and saying I will not buy anything off of him until he removes it. lol

At carnivals. Taken children and grands to them.

Objects in the mirror will get thinner than they now appear
