Cricket, I'm so sorry for all you are dealing with this year. Please let us - or me - know if there's anything we (I) can do to help.

Susan, you seem to have a good plan in place for yourself. Keep up the good work.

I am making progress. The pounds are coming down slowly, but they are at least coming down. My amount of movement is picking up, especially since school is out and I'm not tied to the table teaching. And I've learned quite a bit about what foods are not worth it to my health.
My doctor appointments are always about 12 weeks apart from each other and I asked to be allowed to come in occasionally for a weight check to keep myself accountable and inspired. I scheduled myself to do so every three weeks, enough to lose SOMETHING, and soon enough to keep me focused.
I do ask for help when I need it, but don't generally join challenges- I'm always afraid the goals will be set to high and the requirements to cumbersome for me.

It's Worth Giving.

And we all lived happily ever after...

I'm doing OK weight-wise.I had to buy smaller pants. emoticon To be honest, I'm not trying to loss weight right now.....I'm trying to de-stress.

I had a hell of a year. I placed my son(with disabilities) in a home 3 hours away. Divorced. Moved all my stuff to a storage unit and lived with a friend the past 7 months. My Mom past away 2 months ago(expected but still takes an emotional toll). I'm still waiting for all the financial stuff to work itself out from the divorce. And I am looking for a place of my own. I also accepted a new position at work, so I'm learning a whole new job.
I'm in a good place, I just have to relax and let things happen in their own time.

I remind myself to put things in God's hands and I spend as much time as possible at the lake. (De-stressing)

I am blessed to live in such a beautiful area!

If I can lose a few more pounds it will be great, but job one right now is maintenance and that is going well for a couple of years now.

No, I am not making progress. I haven't really asked for help from anyone, but have subscribed to a discussion to get ideas on what to eat. Mostly I have to try to figure things out by myself because of overlapping problems and people on the teams usually only have one problem to deal with.

The year is now half over. Are you making progress toward your goals? Do you ask for help from your teams when you need help? If not, why? That’s what we’re here for.
