I take mine with food too. I take one med in the morning, then my supplements at lunch, and then my plaquenil at night before bed. I'm on low doses of most everything because I tend to react or have bad side effects to everything.
The only time I forget...is on weekends sometimes I forget to take my supplements at lunch because we are on a different schedule with activities, but I usually get them in later during the day.

An alarm on your phone might work really well. Good luck!

What I read about them I always insist that I get them with food. I do not want my stomach messed up by those meds. And that is in the hospital too. So far I have not needed to go to the hospital since my husband was diagnosed with cancer and so glad that I did not go in and was able to take care of him. Especially at the end when he ended up in the wheelchair and I watched him get weaker and weaker from the chemo.

If you tell God no because He won't explain the reason He wants you to do something, you are actually hindering His blessing. I take my Plaquenil twice a day as well, 200 mg each. I take it along with my other meds. I take eight different meds at night and nine in the morning. I take them all at the same time. Sometimes I take them with food sometimes not. I have never been consistent with what time I take them, as long as they are about twelve hours apart. My reasoning for this, every time I have been in the hospital, and I have been in the hospital a lot, They always have given my meds together, asked if I wanted to take them one at a time or all at once, and it has never been with a meal.

I too take mine in the morning and you do know that you are suppose to take that with food too. I would also get some good quality of vitamin C and take that every day too.

I take my plaquenil in the morning right with breakfast as it's the only med I take.

It takes a few weeks to form a new habit so if setting an alarm, leaving yourself a note or whatever way you think will help you remember, then try it and hopefully after a few weeks, it will be a new habit.

I take my Plaquenil twice a day.....400 mg. in the morning and 200 mg. at night. I think the important thing is that you take it at the same time every day.

Take care and keep warm Deni emoticon

Getting sick of being sick. I had mastitis for over a month and now I just got over bronchitis and breathing issues. It seems like once I get over one thing another thing pops up. The only good thing is that my rheumatologist added tramadol to my meds to help with the joint pain which has relieved some of the more severe symptoms. I my sleep pattern is all over the place since I've been sick. Side note I know I spelled this wrong but when do you take your plaquenil. I'm trying to figure out a good time to take it. I take a lot of meds for various health and problems in the morning so I don't want to add any more. Lunch would be good but I have a tendency to forgot to take pills then because it's the only med I take. Any suggestions? Maybe set an alarm?
