When I joined SparkPeople, about eight and a half years ago, I saw that drinking
soda pop was NOT on SparkPeople's Nutrition Plan, so I quit drinking it, COLD TURKEY.
Now, soda pop has been linked to obesity, and Type 2 Diabetes, making it even easier to quit.

good question i am in the same potion at the moment.what i have decided to do is concentrate on one thing at the moment like my water or getting a set number of minutes and reps etc in.i also find distraction goes along way.if i fancy some of the kids biscuits for example i mop the kitchen floor with a very wet mop so i have to wait along time till it dries and by then i hopefully dont fancy a biscuit any more.same with if you want a drink of pop.put loads of hand cream on your hand which will take a long time to absorb in your hands and it is very hard to open a bottle of pop with greasy hands.another good one is clean your teeth with a very strong peppermint toothpaste.hope this helps.a nice warm bubble bath ccan help as well.i must admitt my kitchen floor is the cleanest it has been in a while lately, lol.how have you been handeling it ?has the phase past now or are you still struggling?

I think that is important to not be too hard on yourself !
Remember that it is good to have variety in your diet.
Moderation is a key.

So i started my WL back in march 2017 and never had a cheat day until last sunday evening and Monday evening. I know i can lose whatever i gained back but the thing is my will power is now weaken and its harder for me to be able yeild off bad temping thoughts in my battlemind in the battle field within the mind. How do yall deal with this or any tricks to over come this? I do know that with every passing day it does get easier and easier BUT how do i deal with it when its at the highiest temping stage before my Will power will kick back in to high gear?

Im slowly learning its not about being perfect but perfectly loved. There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear ~ 1 John 4:18
