That is a step in the right direction. You will become more aware of other habits and be able to move forward. Good Luck!!!

The past three days I haven't been binging, like in the past, BUT I have become aware at a behavior of mine that sets me up to jump off the wagon every time. I'd eat a little extra at lunch or another meal. Then, I would do the same over a period of time and finally find myself binging on food. All of the intensity of emotional eating would resurface and I'd spiral down emotionally for a very long time. Last night, I had a mexican food meal with friends. Because of schedule conflicts, I didn't eat dinner until LATE. By the time I ate I was starving!!! At which point, I scarfed A LOT more than usual. I realize it is important to move forward, but I also have to take into consideration the pattern that was emerging from my gluttony. I was going over my calorie ceiling "a little". But, then, I'd be hungrier than usual.....and the cycle would ensue. It is good that I recognized this. In the past, I wouldn't have noticed this. I would have eaten everything.
