Yes, the columns you are talking about do not change. I just try to stay in the allotment for the sugar in the nutritional goals. I also sync my food into my fitbit. Fitbit does not track sugar. But maybe you can use the other apps and sync into Sparkpeople. Just an idea.

Thank you happy elf. I did find that setting but I'm meaning in the actual tracker when I enter food. Or when they give me a meal plan. Sugar isn't listed in the columns. Other food tracker apps show the sugar contents. Was hoping since I'm using a diabetic meal plan it would show the sugars.

I think that if you go to the bottom of the food tracker you can edit your nutrition goals under the tools and settings. I do have premium Sparkpeople. I am tracking sugar. I hope you find this helpful.

Good morning!

I'm a bit confused with the suggested meal plans after selecting the Diabetes plan. I'm getting the suggestion of eating 5 carrots for lunch.... when I was diagnosed 4 years ago the first thing I was told by my dietitian was to avoid carrots at all costs. They have a high GI. Why would the site suggest something that clearly is not the best choice for a diabetic?

And why when setting my nutritional goals is there no sugar levels? For example the Applesauce Oatmeal muffins they suggest as a snack tell me the fat, calories, protein and carbs but not the sugar

Thanks for any advice or tips you might have for me to navigate the site better
