I did a Zumba class at lunch today, and then went back to the gym after dinner and did 30 mins on the elliptical and some upper body work. Good day!! Hope to do it again tomorrow!

I did a bunch of kicks, strikes, combos and some forms, practicing Taekwondo yesterday. A lot of panting and sweating. :) Burned 250 calories with that. Gonna do the same today. I was reading about getting up and doing half of my cardio in the morning, then the other half later in the day, as that's better for metabolism, but I have a lot of trouble getting going in the morning. I do my exercise in the afternoon or evenings usually.

Went emoticon again with the kids tonight. Tomorrow the plan is to go swimming in the morning and then maybe bowling in the afternoon. We'll be out at my Mom's for the day, so the bowling will only happen if she's up for it. If not, I admit a small part of me will be relieved. I think my body needs a day off, lol!

Did some walking this past week, one strength training day and a couple C25K training sessions. Overall, really need to get my butt moving more. Today we drove down to St. Augustine beach. Drove on the beach for a bit, then walked for over an hour. It was a BEAUTIFUL day! Had lunch at the Beachcomber before heading back to Jacksonville. We stopped at Aqua East and picked up my packet w/ shirt, race bib and gps chip for the race on the 21st.

Thanks to an early start on the day, I got in a decent amount of fitness today.

One 20 minute round trip to the store with the tandem.
20 minutes of hard-core yard work.
Two 23-minute sessions on the exercise bike.

That sounds like fun, ANNAGERTRUDE! I didn't realize the festival was this weekend.

I haven't logged any fitness yet today, but am going to see if my boy is up for a tandem ride in a few minutes. I'd like to log a little time before I have to start cooking dinner. The mosquitoes have been bad over here, so we're heading indoors earlier than I'd like. I just wish the temps started cooling off earlier. I got a little pink watering the lawn yesterday and it was FIVE o'clock! Sheesh!

Took my first TRX class...that's some crazy fun stuff! Then did the yoga class after. This evening we went down to St. Augustine and walked all over the place. That was fun :)

The knees are still bugging me. They're not so bad once I'm up moving around, but any high impact activity...running, jumping, etc...still hurts em pretty bad.

Did my C25K yesterday. Even with the new orthotics in my shoes, the knee pain is still pretty intense. Ice and ibuprofen last night and today.

Today I went and signed up for a one month trial at OmVelo. Did the yoga class this evening. Pretty intense! Can't wait to see what the cycling and TRX are like!

Walked during lunch & break. Too hot to walk outside during lunch, so stalked the halls and stairways. After work, I did my W5D3 C25K training. It was kinda brutal...after the warm up, run 20 minutes, no walking. I did it. My run was more like a slow jog, but I still did it! emoticon

I worked my tail off today! The kids and I rode bikes to lunch (6 miles round trip). I did Day 1 of Spark's Virtual 5K Walk training. It was pretty lame for someone who already walks, so I am looking forward to getting further along in the program, lol. Then I got on the stationery bike tonight. My legs are burning and I sure am tired, but I need to make up for tomorrow's lack of fitness time. I'll be running errands all day, so my fitness will be happening by parking far away from doors, taking stairs, and maybe some stationery bike in the evening. We'll see how it goes.

Saturday was a bike ride and Sunday W5D2 C25K training. Today was walking on break and lunch, the some upper body strength training with the baby dumbbell set tonight.

Tisha, to be honest, I can't remember the name of the trunk rack! It's still in the box in the trunk. I'm going to bust it out tomorrow night after work and try setting it up on my own. They make me nervous, too, but a friend at work uses one all the time and she loves it.

what kind of bike rack did you get? I just got an allens bike rack made for 2 bikes just so i can buy a bike and bring it home. I was nervous about going over the buckman but it made it. I also want to be able to meet friends for bike rides but I am still not confident the bike will not fall off the rack at higher speeds. Tisha

Oh, I don't blame you. I'm a wuss...I won't run in the dark either. I'd probably break my ankle tripping over something, but mostly, I'm just skeered!! Sounds like you got a pretty awesome workout in though! Hope your afternoon went well today! emoticon

I got a lot of walking in during breaks and lunch. After work, I headed over to Dicks sporting goods and purchased a bike rack for my trunk so I can start meeting friends for bike rides when the hubster isn't up to it (which is more often than not!).

Nope, I wasn't able to get it in. I didn't get home until around 9pm and I'm afraid to run when its dark out. I just popped on some more OnDemand exercise videos and worked through them. I'm beginning to think that every video works your abs like crazy! Ouchie :)

I will be done with work early afternoon today, so I'll throw on my shorts and head out the door as soon as I get home!

Ha! I made the kids ride bikes to Panera for dinner. I'm such a mean mom! We had a great time and barely made it back before dark. I mapped our route on the Nike site tonight and we rode 5.46 miles and we shaved 10 minutes total off of our usual time.

Spent the afternoon cleaning the garage some more. I'm making progress and burning calories at the same time. I like this kind of fitness, lol.

Yeppers! 40 min of C25K plus a few extra minutes of walking after. I'm not good at judging how far I'm going yet, so I was still 5 min away from home! 20 minutes of strength training this evening.

Yes, today I rode my bike 8 miles to my sons baseball game, and man was it a hot scorching day, 91 degrees.

Buttons, I'm glad you're feeling better. Melissa, I hope you are as well. The sun can be brutal.

I went for my normals walks. The morning break was fine, but it was quite warm at lunch...and I would up a hot, sweaty mess. LOL But, nonetheless, it was worth it. After I got home and cooked dinner, I spent about ninety minutes vaccuming and mopping floors. Fun. LOL At least it's done and I can spend my weekend doing other things.

Rode the bike to Paneras for a nice healthy lunch. Then rode to Target and the library and then home. It was a 6.33 mile round trip.

Then I played a little basketball with my Taz, rode my bike up to the store for more oranges, and finished the day up with a nice walk. I'm going to sleep well tonight!

Couch to 5K training. I'm still working on week one for the second time. I think I'm finally getting a good plan going for forcing myself out the door!
Swept and raked for a bit right after finishing the run/walk.
Days 3 and 4 of the 28 day bootcamp videos

Today was walking on breaks (inside cuz it was POURING!) then got outside at lunch for a good 45 min walk. After I got home, I changed into my workout clothes and it was W3D3 C25k. Whew!
