Losing weight has been my life long journey and for the past 14 years I have not lost more than 7 lbs without gaining them back plus some. I have been frustrated and discouraged but finally after all that time I am making some progress and truly believe I can do this. emoticon
Evenings are still my biggest challenge. I had some off track days this week but got back on track by Thursday. I weigh in tomorrow. The scale has gone done consistently each wek since Labor Day and I hope I can keep that streak going!

I've started out every day this week with exercise and my usual breakfast. I'm putting in time doing house organization. But the mindless eating starts in the afternoon and the scales are showing the damage.
Today's goal is to resist the snacking.

So far today, it has been a very healthy eating and exercise day! Whoo whoo!

I have to be diligent about caring for myself. 100 DAYS OF WEIGHT LOSS is a great way for me to keep focused. Day 1 is July 1, 2017. Build habits to produce success. Most of these habits I have at least tried before but did not sustain. First habit: delay eating by using a timer.

1) Plan meals -- Monday - Friday emoticon

2) Keep to my breakfast and lunch routines that I use during the work week -- Day 1 emoticon

3) Do 30 minutes on my bike daily -- Day 2 emoticon

4) Don't forget to drink water -- need to work harder on this one today

5) Track nutrition -- about 75% yesterday, trying for 100% today

My eating plan from a blood test ---I set a goal by Nov. 16 I'd be 100% compliant. This week's goal is to track my food at least 4 days. To me this means make menus according to my Food Plan. I have a big stress right now. I am set for a TSR (total shoulder replacement)
Dec. 2. I just drove to my regular doctor to give him papers to fill out. I made an appt. with him for Nov. 12--Pre-op appt. He needs to clear me for the surgery.

Well, I guess this is making me nervous. I don't like pain! And it will be difficult caring for my disabled husband. Obviously I will need help. I have informed my daughter and also my husband's brother. I need help packing to move next summer.

So--- emotions --oh boy--and I am now eating Cheetos (baked !) chris

I am having a good Sunday morning. I hope I can hold out eating right --just for today. I am drinking lots of water. I have had more body pain lately. Maybe the re-turn to drinking coffee is doing it. I will let you know tonight if this helps to reduce my pain level. chris

This week I'm on vacation so I'll be spending a lot of time at home alone. I think I need to put some real restrictions on my eating this week or I'll quickly get out of control.

My goal this week is to (at least 4 days) record my meals in the food tracker,

This definitely pushes me to eat much more healthy than if I did not write it out.
