Autumn is such a perfect time of year to get outdoors and be more active. The temps are cooler, but not cold, and the colors are glorious. This is a great time of year to finally get around to trying something new - perhaps hiking with a group, or photography on a hillside (that you must walk to). Try some geo-caching with kids or on your own. Check out the community centre fall classes.

It's a great time of year. Those pumpkin treats can be made small sized too (buy a tiny muffin tin). Pumpkin is very good for you, so if you are craving the taste, open up a can and take a couple tablespoons just like that - much less calories, and full flavor!

Great topic for discussion. Let's bring out the ideas!

What are some ideas you have heading into fall that help you stay on track. I know I am struggling with all the pumpkin flavored treats. What are some ideas, workouts, strategies that have helped you through previous autumn seasons?
