Day 1 was "ok" - had my grandson all day and we went to movies. Movie theatre popcorn is one of my favorite things and Thurs. is BYOB (Bring Your Own Bag) free popcorn day so my calorie intake was WAY over. On the plus side, the pricey popcorn was free, I drank a LOT of water and took a very long and fast-paced walk in the evening!

I started this challenge with the decision to incorporate HIIT elliptical workouts to my week. 12 minutes, 3 days a week after work. . .I can do this! Day 1 and my scale says I'm down 2 pounds! Next week should be a breeze. DD has swim lessons at the Y Monday-Thursday; and this Mama watches from the elliptical trainer upstairs.

Well, yesterday I drank 10 glasses of water and I tracked everything I ate. Not so good I didn't go jogging and I ate a whole pizza for dinner. Today is a new day. I have a plan so I won't go off the deep end when I get off work. :)

So far, so good! I'm within range and thinking of having some ice cream if I've got room. I'm craving sugar really bad this week so I got some sundae cones from the Schwan man. Better portion control than regular ice cream. Didn't do quite as much exercise as usual because I came home with a headache but I got my walk in this morning and did some yoga this evening.

I'm pretty pleased with today. I got up 30 minutes earlier and got in 20 minutes on the recumbent bike. It's the first time I've been on it in over a month and a half. Tracked all my food and got my water in. Glad to be making steps to get back on track.

So far it was ok for me today. It's my rest day and I had a slip up with my snack. I came home starving and reached for cottage cheese. That wasn't enough though and I quickly dug out some chips. emoticon

I'm hoping to do better tomorrow and continue to work on my eating as well as my strength training.

It was a great day. Well within calories and workout. I walked five and half miles and I was high pace walking which felt great. I got to go out to lunch with my mom and had salad which was well with calories.

I forced myself to work out - some SP videos. As hard as it is to get me started exercising, I always, always feel better afterward. Gotta remind myself of that the next time I don't want to work out (which will probably be tomorrow - lol).

I also planned my food and I'm halfway through my 8 waters.

Hi Team!
I just finished 25 minutes of Fitness Blender videos followed by 5 minutes of stretching. Yay! I did the whole "tell myself I only have to workout for 10 minutes" thing to get motivated and it worked. After my first 10 minute video I felt so good that I did another 15. I need to get cracking on my water now.

It's ironic that day one of #backontrack starts on a rest day for me. I did an indoor workout this morning, as it was raining. Exercise isn't my issue though- I get plenty of that. I am tracking. Yes- everything. Gotta do it.

I'm off to a good start. I dusted off my pedometer and I'm actually wearing it as we speak. I have a pitcher of water in the frig with cucumber and orange slices - very refreshing. Good luck to all. If we stick with this, just think how awesome we will feel next month at this time.

Drinking my water and even though we woke up late, I still got 10 minutes of exercise in and DH is going to come home for two hours this afternoon and allow me to get a workout in before he heads back to work. I plan on putting my breakfast into the food tracker during DS's morning nap.

Ready to get back on track?

I have to get my strength training done and I need to be more diligent about drinking water - those are my two most important goals.

I checked the Facebook page but haven't seen anything specifically talking about this challenge yet. The Twitter page is full of people posting about what they're doing for the challenge. I'll check again later to see if there's anything new.

What are you working on today?
