I haven't seen it in years. The last show I saw was when a old man collapsed from a mild heart attact.that was it for me.

I've never been a big fan of the biggest loser. I've seen a couple episodes, but felt it was like fad dieting versus lifestyle change and then the contestants came out. Some who developed eating disorders. Not for me.

I watched it a few seasons back - now I record them and watch when I can. I didn't realize they were being investigated - I think they are exercising many hours daily - and from what I've seen they are extremely intense - which could be why they loose big numbers -

Remember, when someone has a lot of weight to lose - also the men - a person is gong to lose big numbers at the beginning. In addition they are probably eating much less than they were before they went on the show.

I don't believe they are giving them "drugs" - thinking that if that was the case - someone would have come forward by now.

True - losing the large amounts of weight in 3-4 months - I don't believe is very healthy and not a lesson in "lifestyle change" to be able to maintain the lose.

I watch it off & on but I would never be a contestant. I have picked up different exercises to try & some food ideas but otherwise don't take much from the show.

The television show Biggest Loser is being investigated for giving contestants illegal diet drugs. Do you like the show and watch it. Would you be a contestant? Why or Why not?

I watched the first couple seasons and when I started to lose weight knew it was bull crap. Especially after talking to my Dr. and asking him why I wasn't dropping pounds like they were and he said that was dangerous and he wouldn't let me. No I would not be a contestant. There is a article on Yahoo about the investigation if you are interested. See my blog, it has the link and the information.
