We got just enough snow to turn the ground white. I helped to fill treat sacks at church this morning. They will be given out to everyone at the Christmas program tomorrow night. We're now watching "It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year" with Henry Winkler.

I got my hair done this morning. We're expecting a snow storm tonight. For now, its rain. I have a few sore muscles from yesterday's PT.

Good afternoon. It is raining out today. I was going to go shopping but only went to the bank. Too yucky out.

PT went well. The therapist said that im about 98% of those at 6 weeks from surgery. He's also working me harder, especially the hamstrings. He told me to do one exercise and i told him you gotta be kidding! But i did it and it was very difficult. I would have been afraid to do them on my own.

Its a cold dreary day! Its snowing and really slick in Zootown this morning, at least they said it on the radio this morning with multiple car accidents. No snow here yet. I have PT this afternoon. Hopefully the roads will be good then. I did my stretches early this morning, even though I didn't want to.

TOPS this morning. I turtled this week. Then we took off for Zootown for my appointment at the Bone and Joint. Doctor is pleased with my progress so that's good news. I see him again in 6 weeks. We did some shopping and came home. We're going out to eat in a little while before church. Im thankful i dont have to cook supper tonight!

This is one busy week. Yesterday, I took Mary to a doctor appointment. This afternoon and Thursday afternoon, I have PT. Tomorrow, I have TOPS, then right afterwards, we go to Zootown for a doctor appointment. Also, church Wednesday evening. Then on Friday morning, I can relax while I get my hair done. I'm concerned that I might get totally wore out. I'm glad that I don't have to drive for any of these appointments.

Another first since surgery today. I took my friend, Mary, to a doctor appointment. It was a short drive. I'm not sure I could drive all the way to Zootown yet. I still get tired too easily. So today was like a practice run.

Good Evening!

For the first time since I had surgery, I taught my Sunday School class this morning. I enjoyed the break, but I'm also glad to be back mentoring young minds. They are learning magnets at this age. After that, was the church Worship Service. Afterwards, a little visiting, then we ate out. We came home and I took a nap. After that, we all walked a mile around town. That's been my day!

I didn't even get on here yesterday. I was just so tired. I'm still tired. I'm tired of being tired. It doesn't help that its so dreary out. That's definitely something I will ask the doctor on Wednesday. He'll probably say something like my body is still repairing what he disturbed in surgery. PT is going well. They are amazed with my flexibility with only 5 weeks.

Good morning!! It is Saturday. Going to watch my granddaughter in a parade and spend some time with other grands as well. Hope to get some cleaning done!

Good morning! Off today. Going to get some shopping done, keep my grandsons for a few hours and wrap a few presents....and walk 30 minutes! And eat right! Whew!

As usual, I started my day with the stretching exercises. I hoped to get in a nap after than this morning, but I just didn't nap. I walked a mile with my husband, while concentrating on waking right and with no limp. No limp was no problem. The other, I still have to work on, but its coming. I have PT this afternoon.

I still do all the strength and stretching exercises every morning and evening. I have PT this afternoon. Its a cold dreary rainy day. 37 degrees. I know it's not THAT cold, but I like warmer days.

I'm feeling like I took a small step backwards in the last week. We'll see what the therapist says. I still feel tired, even with increasing my protein. I know my body is still repairing the damage done with surgery.

I don't know where today went! I finally got last month's bills paid. I messed up last month's records for the beginning of the month automatic deposits and payments.. So I had to straiten that out before I could proceed forward. Last month was such a mess for me. I did put a roast in the oven this afternoon along with some veggies. So that should be ready anytime.

Its warmer over here than it was in eastern MT. Yesterday morning it was -12 degrees. It 26 here this morning. Its 37 now.

We got home about an hour ago. Between church and the ride home, I've been sitting around too much. We did stop in Butte and I walked about 10 min. That helped. . I'm tired but glad to be home. The roads were much better coming home than going. Its warmer in western MT than it is in eastern MT. It was -12 this morning over there … Its +26 here now.

We're still enjoying our visit, but all good things must come to an end. Tomorrow we go home again after church and lunch. It'll be good to be home again. I have PT on Tuesday.

I was planning on going out today but the person I am living with told me to stay home. I am a little mad right now. I have been home all week and have not been out shopping. He wants me to take off this coming Friday so he can go see Daisy Duke at a place called Cooters. That is my first week back and I do not plan on taking off. It will serve him right.

Its been a busy day. And everything I do is in slow motion. Or it seems that way. I did the stretching exercises early this morning. I washed my hair in the shower this morning. Then later did a little curling it. All this takes time. I started a fruitcake this morning. Then we left for PT. He had a physical therapist trainee with him today, so he talked a little more than usual. He said that I'm not the usual knee replacement patient. I'm seeing all the benefits of all the exercises I've done since last January or February. I started because of Sciatic Nerve Pain and I continued with it. Then I ramped it up when I I found out I was going to have a knee replacement. Funny how whats good for the lower back is also good for the knees. I've also done all the stretching exercises that I was told to do after surgery. Its been 3 and half weeks since surgery and he told the trainee that I've progressed to maybe 7 or 8 weeks. WOW! Exercise works! I don't do any more or less than what I've been told to do.

When I got home, I finished the the fruitcake and we went for a mile long walk. When the fruitcake comes out of the oven, then I'll put a pizza in the oven. It'll be a late supper. But it'll be easy with very little dirty dishes.

My husband and I walked this morning, first time for a full mile. Then I sat down and rested before lunch. We watched a TV show then I baked a raisin pie, rested, then worked on the pineapple pie. Both are super easy to make. Then when the pineapple pie was in the oven I rested again. Its so frustrating to be so tired after doing such a small thing. I have PT tomorrow afternoon.

We went to Sunday School and church this morning. I'm not back to teaching yet. That wore me out. We went out to eat. I told the waitress that it was our granddaughter's birthday today. So when desert was brought, her's came with a candle and we sang Happy Birthday to her. Tonight, we have a small surprise birthday with just the 3 of us planned. Cake and Ice Cream is really an Ice cream sandwich. and I plan to put a candle in it. lol For her gift, I bought 3 pair leggings for her that she's suppose to pay for them, so we decided, they are paid for with her birthday.

We walked just under a mile today. Its faster now, probably because I don't have the walker now. Its still slow, but I'm doing better each day. 30 minutes today.

My husband and I walked a little faster and further today. It was 10 blocks, 12 blocks is a mile. Then I rested a little bit and we went to the grocery.

I told my daughter in law that I would bake a couple of pies for Thanksgiving. She'll do the pumpkin pie, so I'll do something non-traditional and different. Raisin Pie and Pineapple Pie. Both are really easy to make, especially if you buy the crusts. lol I plan to make them on Tuesday. I might have to have help!
