Got in 45 minutes of ironing, lots of going up and down stairs doing my laundry and did 15 minutes of walking in the house. I feel GREAT!

My goal for the rest of this week is to cut way back on carbs, had way too many the last couple of days.
I will get 2 days in with my Tai Chi class, we only have it on Tuesday and Thursday.
On Wednesday, Friday and Saturday I will do a walking video unless I am able to get outside.

My goal this week is to limit the coke's I drink {right now that is all I drink} Like many addictions it is hard for me to stop but I will try to do it. I will incorporate healthy drinks instead. My ultimate goal is to stop altogether. I want to achieve that goal in the next month.

Finally - after 3 days - I learned that the plumbers our management was calling is closed because of illness in the family. So yesterday the owner contacted a friend who came right over - and fixed our toilet!! YEAH!

Now today will be laundering all the towels that I have collected in the bathtub.

Goal is to go to bed early tonight (I did it last night and was so proud of myself, I decided to make it my goal again). Then tomorrow I have a few files to put my hands on. Doing great on minimizing the piles of work. I hope tomorrow will make a big difference!

Working on my August goals! I have really let myself down this past month. I have had a long talk with myself and I am ready to get back to work and get healthier.

I love this time of year with all the fresh veggies and the fruits in the grocery store are better.
My garden is keeping me in cucumbers and a few tomatoes, that is a salad for me! Just add a little salt and pepper and I'm good to go.

With my computer back I can do all of the exercise videos I had saved.
Look out August, I mean business NOW!

Cleaning out mom's car. including vacuuming, and dusting off the interior.

did DSS interview this morning.

bought a head lamp at walmart for 1.00.. of course it did not work.. went back today and got one that does.... they are fabulous for reading / hand work .. in the dark or dark projects .

finished plying the lighter yarn and knit a little on sock..

in the local librarys summer reading program - I got 5 series of the big bang theory SCORE emoticon
trying to deal with SS screw ups & food stamps interview on the phone - hung up after 35 min on hold.. will need to go over there one early morning -- soooooooooo hot here.. hopefully sweat off 5 lbs emoticon
spinning more and its lighter than the last batch ... ugh more extra work.. at least I enjoy this one

Only did one load of laundry yesterday - so need to do another load this morning.

Then no plans - yet. But, will probably shampoo part of the living room carpet. Have a great little shampooer and makes it so easy to do.

I remember my Mother-in-law telling me not to worry about the housework that needs to be done. There will always be more tomorrow. And, how true that is!! I can really clean the kitchen and the next morning it looks like it has been neglected for days!!

Today's goals:
Not much - perhaps a couple of loads of laundry and then knitting on my sweater for next winter!!

woke to early with mooshie ( my kitty ) talking to me then jumping off my tummy and taking off with the others racing around........... found out their food bowls were empty hahahaha like they will starve to death if no food is in the bowls......
so feed momma kitty ( she lives outside )...filled the bird feeder.. and got mail.. will be 104 today so do all outside things early ..
just finished hemming pants ..
now going to check FB and play a little farmville 2........
need to do dishes -eeww hate washing dishes - have always had a dish washer.....
and need to work on knitting socks for brother
and paint this box I am putting all knit/crochet stuff in except hooks & needles

Spent an HOUR standing up cooking meal in my Large pot. this recipe makes about 7-8 servings, so I eat one and freeze the others for other evenings when I do not have time to cook.
Delicious.

cut basil & got out the bag in freezer - the ice cube tray method is not good - when they thaw I can still use them , but just stuffing the leaves in a qt freezer bag works best .. anyway will make a batch of pesto

thawing a big bag of chicken legs - will put in crock pot after for dinner - still frozen and been out all night , and yes I know to keep in refidge but would still have been a frozen block this morning

signed up for HOOPLA thru the library and learning about that. it is on the lap top but I want it on the kindle .. so need to play with it

Can't believe I managed to make the numbers work re nutrition today. Prepping for my first big storm or maybe it will be a tropical cyclone, or maybe even a hurricane...it's a lot of work. I didn't get bike ride & yoga done but....the numbers worked. Whew.

Tuesday, walked 30 minutes outdoors in cooler evening,
picked up library books in afternoon.
Took two relatives to lunch, that are in town from Ireland.......lovely couple- My son in laws, parents.....

On Wed. walked only about 20 minutes. the humidity was very high and we were told not to go out in the weather if any health problems.

Thursday today, cooking meal in crockpot and also doing some walking with dvd, since humidity is too high....

same as yesterday , but also getting monthly groc list finalized for tomorrow - so hot here have to leave at 7am with ice packs - (no air cond. in van too ) ....
and prepping and painting box for knit/crochet items - excludes needles/hooks.
still can not find my pink stitch counter , so need to put things all in 1 place - and put them back when done or stopped LOL as have a lot of ufos.

Each day I do something that involves activity and burning calories. I am working toward walking more often. emoticon
I cannot go to my gym classes for few weeks, Silver sneakers. I had a procedure done and they want me to not jump around for at least few weeks. Will be hard to hold off but the walking will keep me Motivated while I heal.
I am committed to tracking and eating healthy. One day at a time will get me there. emoticon
