I bought some compression shorts today (Under Amour, I think) and was told that they won't ride up due to the elastic around the bottom of the leg. I also got some regular running shorts to go over them because they are *awfully* snug - nobody, including me, needs to see that much detail!

I've been sick the last few days, so I didn't get to try them out today, but I'm hoping they work well. The yoga style pants I've been running in are getting old and they're hot to run in in the humidity of Houston.

Thanks for the Enell tip! I'm definitely going to get one. I am also a size F and I usually layer two sports bras and it's still not enough.

Maybe I'll give some bike shorts a try too. My butt and thighs jiggle and it doesn't feel too great. Although I'm really self conscious about my butt and thighs so I'll still wear normal shorts on top.

Thanks for the suggestions, ladies!

Hi! New to the team, but today was wk2 day 1 for me. I use a free app on my droid that I found then I found the team. I hate anything but spandex shorts for this since friction is not my thighs' friend. I walked and strength trained for two months before even thinking about running and yes, it's still hard. I'm going to do it as long as it doesn't damage me!

Bike shorts do not ride up, I usually wear another pair of shorts over them though

So do bike shorts really help with the thighs? I can't wear regular shorts when I run because my thighs rub together and the shorts ride up and irritate the crap out of me. Do bike shorts not ride up?

My real goal in trying to loose weight is to get to the point where I don't wear out the inseam on my scrub pants before the rest of the set of scrubs.

I had to laugh! Jiggle that bothers me the most is my butt. I am very uncool with this. I am looking to purchase spandex bike shorts to help with this and to keep my bouncing thighs from rubbing.

The question how to get started with this program. There should be a link to Coolrunnings.com. Hope this helps.

NICOLEMARIE beat me to it - ENELL ROCKS! I've worn nothing else for the last 10 years or so.

As it says on their website, when you first try them on, they feel quite tight, you might think you need a bigger size, but that's just the point. Once you're in - nothing moves! And they're comfortable too. Just nothing sexy about them. But who cares when you can run in comfort??!

The Enell Sports bra is the best money you will ever spend. I'm an F cup and it keeps me snug. http://www.enell.com/index.php

I'd be curious to hear answers as well. I wear a good sports bra and snug bicycle-type spandex shorts, which help the bust, butt, and stomach jiggle, but I still struggle with the back jiggle. Sometimes it can be painful and, on occasion, the pulling causes headaches. I'm hoping that losing weight and gaining muscle will eventually take care of the problem.

I jiggle a lot too.... it used to bother me so what i used to do was wear a good sports bra (found a danskin one at wal mart that zips in front... im a DDD and it works for me...) and then i would wear a tight tank top with that and then my work out clothes... now I dont care but back then it definitely made me feel less self conscious...

Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels!

Hello!I jiggled alot too, and I tried insanity and p90 and it helped. Try to add weight training in your workout.

I'm new to this forum, and want to know where to start with running? I haven't ran in about 6 years! I'm running a 5k in July and would like to run the entire thing!! Can anyone help??

I'm not very overweight, but I'm all jiggle and no muscle.

And I just have to say that running the C25K program (the first running I"ve done since middle school) makes me jiggle bad. Oh, it is uncomfortable! My butt and my thighs and my gigantic boobs just jiggle like mad. I try to ignore it, but sometimes it kind of hurts.

Any other jigglers out there? How do you deal with it?
