I am also doing the C25K. I have one planned out for me in Oct. I can go 2 miles on the treadmill but when I try running outside it messes me up. So I guess I will just have to take it slow and run every other day like the program says. I need to get my ipod replaced so I can get my music back.

I am starting this program again!!! I started in June and got through 3 FULL WEEKS before life got crazy and hectic! Now it has been weeks with no substantial exercise and I don't know whether to go back to the beginning or try to start where I left off? Any suggestions? I would love to chat with those of you just starting, so we can do this together and keep each other motivated! Is anyone in on this with me?

I have just started this program and I am not a runner and never really have been since I was about 12 (now I am 51). I am having a bit of trouble with a weak side and so I am staying in week 1 while I work that out. I had knee surgery years ago and that seems to be my weak side. I had no idea until trying to run. I walk/run for about 50 minutes plus. I was walking 5K distances before beginning running. Running feels fine during but I get very stiff for the next day after running. My current routine has made a big difference to my weight loss. Yea!!!!

Today was my first day of the C25k. I burned 155 calories and went 1.7 miles.

I am starting because I am sick of the way my body looks and feels. I am at my heaviest right now. So I am hoping that this program will help me lose the weight I have put on over the past year.

DAY 2 OF WORK OUT 1 FROM COOLRUNNING.COM DONE ON 7/6/10. I HAD TO TAKE SOME MOTRIN AND TYLENOL BECAUSE MY LEFT HEEL WAS HURTING SO BAD. I REALLY FELT GOOD WHEN I WAS ALTERNATING BETWEEN RUNNING AND WALKING- IDK MAYBE THURSDAY WILL BE BETTER.

I started a few weeks back, but decided to go back to walking after I developed some pain in my foot. I wasn't sure what it was, and didn't want to do any damage....so I took a couple weeks and walked. Now, I'm getting ready to get back into this full force. I felt so accomplished when I started a few weeks back and am very eager to restart my c25k training. Good luck and welcome!

Hah, I feel like it's fate. I just gradated from K-State. I guess this is a sign as any that I should start this program. I am officially starting tomorrow. Hope it has been going good for you so far!

I am just starting this program AGAIN!! I started in June and got through 3 full weeks and then life got crazy!! It has been 2 weeks with no walking and now I don't know whether to start over or try to pick up where I left off! Any suggestions? I did walk/run my first 5K this summer and it wan an embarrassing time of 45 minutes that they put in the paper!! How embarrassing it was a good 20 minutes longer than anyone else! I would like to talk with someone else who is starting this program so we can keep each other motivated and it will be like doing it together! Are you in?
