I'm no expert obviously, but I would stay where you are since you did so well. Maybe spend a little extra time on week 2 if needed, but it sounds like you just about have week 2 in the bag!! emoticon emoticon

I started yesterday! (6/20) I did week 2, day 1 to start (which in retrospect was probably a bad idea), but I almost finished it! I only did half of the 3rd interval (had to walk), but I completed everything else. I'm not really sure what to d now though. Should I start back at Week 1, like I'm supposed to, or try to work on completing Week 2 as my Week 1?

I started today! I tried a week and a half ago, most I could run was 40 seconds only a couple of times. Since then, I just walked 3mph and threw a couple sporadic short jogs in.

Today we tried again (hubby and I), and I did the first 4 runs completely, 1/2 of the 5th, skipped the 6th, half of the 7th, and 50 sec. of the 8th! emoticon What an improvement in such a short time. I've never run much in my life.

I may be on week 1 more than a week, but I have started today and I'm NOT giving up, no matter how long it takes. Let's rock this thing!!!

Hey good going Carolyn!
Which podcast are you using? I use one by djsteveboy (Podrunner intervals)... Like you said it's not the kind of stuff I'd listen to but the cues really help when you're outside... I like running outside cos then I can run with hubby dearest walk-running next to me... :D He finds my pace really slow... But it's good enough for me for now...
Enjoy your week!

ran/walked my 2nd workout of week 1

I downloaded the podcast on my nike+
the music is not really what i would pick
but it works!

one more time and I am done with week 1
i think i may do it two more times
and then start week 2 on friday

how are you all doing?

i liked running on my own rather than the treadmill - didnt have to speed it up and slow it down, but thats minor

i will be using the gym this week because it is too hot
i am off on fri sat and sun so i like to walk and jog early in the morning

now i need to find a couple of 5K's to run this fall ;)

i think i need this right now in my life

yes, I just started yesterday, friday june 18
I am off on fridays so I usually walk/jog fri and sat and sun mornings
will have to get some runs in after work during the week
i work 10 hrs, get up at 4:30 am, drive 70 miles roundtrip, so dont feel like much afterwork
but i pay for a gym membership, so i will have to shoot for 1-2 days on the treadmill 20-30 min is not that difficult :)
i will probably run on friday and sunday

glad to have someone else to run with

I've had several false starts with this thing...
I did W1D1 again today(it's the fourth time I'm doing D1!)... It's gotta be for real this time... Anyone else starting around now so we can keep each other accountable?
