Sorry to hear about your knee. It's times like this that make you remember exercise is a Get to not a Have to!!!!! You really miss it when you can't do it.!!

Take care of your knee so you can heal up quickly.

Well I would suggest that you take yourself to the pool and try and get some cardio that way. Thats the only real way of not overly exerting your knee while getting some fitness. Your going to be slower when you get back into running, theres no real way to stop that, however atleast this way your endurance could be the same or even better.

That stinks, sorry! I hear you though, I have to see the ortho dr. on Monday to evaluate a fractured metatarsal, and I'm sure I'm not going to like the news! As soon as I get on track, a derailment, arrgghhh!

Urgh. I think anything you try is going to have to be light on leg work and therefor will put you behind. Swimming would go a long way towards keeping your lungs in shape and seems to be a favorite of distance runners when it comes to cross-training.

Aside from that, it sounds like a good opportunity to focus on core and upper body work. I hope you get good news and heal quickly.

I cannot make myself be thin today, but I CAN be healthier by making a few smart choices. I focus on what needs to be done today and tomorrow takes care of itself.

emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

Any suggestions on stuff to keep up so I don't drop off entirely? Keep in mind my knee has limited range of motion at this point. Whoever thought I would miss working out??
Thanks guys!
